This Lovely Victorian upper Duplex was built in 1906, and has lots of character. It is vintage with 10 foot ceilings, a food out ironing board closet and is located on second and third floors. This is not your luxury property, is not perfect but everything is functional. Being that it is over 100 years old cosmetically you may see areas that have been repaired, very similar to San Francisco style Victorian Homes. This is ideal for the right group that does not fuss with modern day luxuries, and will appreciate staying in a part of Pacific Beach History.
Since the property does not have modern day insulation noise travels less muffled compared to newer properties. To keep our long term tenant downstairs happy we have a strict no party, no smoking, no animal policy. Our tenant is fantastic and very easy to get along with but be do have a strict no party policy. If we do receive a noise complaint there is a fine also disclosed in the rules portion and in the contract you will be signing after reservation has been accepted. Quiet hours are 10PM-7AM.
Property has 1 Large Queen bedroom and 1 Trundle bedroom (2 twins) on second floor and 3 bedroom has 1 queen bed on third floor, 1 bath, 11 blocks to the ocean (1 Mile) , 5 blocks to the bay (1/2 Mile). One block to shopping, restaurants and Starbucks. Amenities include Full kitchen with, microwave, toaster, blender, oven and stove, coffee maker, refrigerator, dishwasher, pots, pans, plates, utensils, glasses, etc., Free WIFI Internet, TV in Living room, washer/dryer (Coin Laundry $1.50), lots of storage, large brick patio with BBQ etc., Original hardwood flooring in spacious bedrooms. Walk or Bike to everything.
Extremely close to all restaurants, shops, bike rentals, pharmacy, super market, gym, surfboard rentals, para sailing, jet skis, etc.
Walking distance to Shops, Restaurants, Market, Bars/Pubs. Drive 5 minutes to Seaworld, 10 minutes from Gaslamp/Downtown/Airport, Petco Park, Qualcomm Stadium
La Jolla is just 1 mile away, an easy bike ride up the coast! Ocean Beach is about 2 1/2 miles south.
Public bus stop is 1 block away on Garnet Ave. and Grand Ave.
Guest access
You will have access private outside patio seating, 1 reserved parking space in the back of the building and anything inside of your apartment. High Speed WIFI Internet, Amazon Firestick media device (Apps) for entertainment. You will have a personal fully equipped kitchen with all essentials.
Note: All guests will need to agree and sign the terms stated in Rules below when they make reservation. A Confirmation Contract and Reservation Request Form will be emailed and must be completed and returned. Also we require guest(s) to send Identification prior to arrival.
