About this property
The Cottage - sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms
The Cottage, one of three neighbouring holiday properties that form Arlanfor, sits right on the seafront in the charming village of Moelfre. Beautifully decorated with a nautical theme, this recently renovated property is bright and airy and full of interesting features. It is just yards away from all the local shops, cafes and restaurants of this pretty Anglesey village and only a stone's throw from the beach.
Ground Floor
Kitchen diner
A bright, newly fitted kitchen with all the kit - coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and hobs and a dining table that seats four.
Living Room
A cosy but well-lit sitting room with exposed stone work, a log burner and plenty of comfortable seating, including a delightful little nook under the stairs - perfect for reading a book. French doors open to a courtyard.
First Floor
Bedroom 1
A king size bed with a characterful headboard, made of reclaimed boat oars, and a wall-mounted smart TV.
Bedroom 2
A spacious twin bedroom with a wall-mounted smart TV
Family Bathroom
Bath, separate shower, WC and sink
Outside
Welcoming you to the house is a small courtyard with a table and chairs in which to enjoy the afternoon sun. Around the front of the property is a shared terrace for guests staying in one of the three Arlanfor properties.
The Local Area
Moelfre is a very pretty village, steeped in maritime history. The lifeboat station and visitor centre are well worth a visit, as is Anne's Pantry, noted for its delicious cakes, coffees and other local fare. There are a handful of boutique and "shabby-chic" shops just around the corner from the house. A short drive away are some of the best beaches on Anglesey, including Lligwy and Traeth Ora. Or guests can head up to Mynydd Parys (Copper Mountain) in Amlwch to see the vibrant colours of this disused copper quarry.
