Located in charming Bembridge, this spacious three bedroom period property was built in the early 1900s.
Seaglass has been recently refurbished throughout to create a spacious, stylish and homely feel. The house is perfectly situated within a few minutes drive of several local beaches and Bembridge village. It is also within walking distance of a local co-op, pubs and eateries.
Ideally located for easy access to both the beach and the local village shops and eateries this newly refurbished 3 bedroom house is the perfect base to explore the Isle of Wight. The house is approximately 8 minutes walk to Bembridge Lane End Beach and the striking Bembridge lifeboat station. A 15 minute walk to Forelands beach, a real hidden gem at the most easterly point on the Isle of Wight which is a great spot for paddling, rock-pooling and fossil hunting. Only a 7 minute drive to the stunning Yaverland beach, which is known for its expansive golden sands and awarded a Blue flag standard for 2022. A short 8 minute stroll to the Grade 1 listed Bembridge Windmill, managed by the National Trust.
Only a 2 minute drive away to the centre of Bembridge Village (Village of the Year, BBC Countryfile Awards 2019), a charming village that benefits from many independent shops, pubs and eateries to enjoy during your stay.
The house benefits from a large driveway for off road parking, comfortably fitting two large cars as well plenty of free street parking. The property also has a large private garden with a seating area comfortable for six and the perfect space to relax after a day at the beach and exploring. Buckets and spades are also available for use throughout your stay.
Once inside, the house is newly furnished and decorated to a high standard throughout. Downstairs there is a large open plan well equipped kitchen/diner area including a dishwasher, fridge freezer and wine cooler. The washing machine is situated in the utility room just outside the back door. There is also an easily accessible downstairs WC.
The lounge is a separate room with a very cosy family feel. It has comfortable seating for at least six people, smart TV, games and DVDs for some relaxing down time.
Upstairs there are two stylishly presented master bedrooms with king size beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The third bedroom is a kids room with a bunk bed and playfully decorated with a nautical theme. A travel cot is available on request.
The bathroom comprises of a WC, bath/shower and sink. Fluffy towels are provided for your stay.
