About the host

We are retired, so we bought a farm to keep us busy. On the farm was a disused dairy with a beautiful outlook overr our fields. My daughter and I decided we wanted to share this with other people so put in for planning permission for a holiday let. 2 years later it is here. The Old Dairy is everything we hoped it would be, calming, relaxing, comfortable. The kitchen is well equiped with a large range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle. The dinning area has a 4 seater table and the lounge area has a large leather chesterfield sofa and squashy comfy chair. Woodburner stove for winter, 50inch TV, WIFI. In the bedroom is a super king bed, clothes rail, usb ports and dressing table. Large mirrors and wall lights. The shower room has a large walk-in shower, loo and vanity sink unit. Out side on the huge patio are 2 recliner chairs, large wrought iron dining table and 6 chairs, portable BBQ. The garden is fully fenced to keep dogs in and our sheep out.

Why they chose this property

The Old Dairy is on our farm and also because the countryside around it is just fields fields and more fields. There are walks from the front door with out having to take the car. A pub is about 1.5 miles walk away along a bridle road the last 0.25 miles on a village road. We are close to Cambridge with everything that the city and surrounding area has to offer. Shops, restaurants, Colleges, museums, historical buildings, parks, punting, walks along the Cam river.
