Silver Cloud Cabin - Pet Friendly! - 15 minutes to Loveland

Welcome to Silver Cloud Cabin, our second home!

Our cabin is perfect for larger families. There are 3 suite style rooms, each with a private bath. Each room has a King size bed and a Queen size fold out couch. This is our second home, so is fully stocked for comfort. The home has plenty of room for your group of 6-10 (city regulations restrict us to 6 adults). We have on-site parking for up to 5 vehicles. The kitchen is ready for your home-cooked meals or just to hold your take out and wine. The views are wonderful and you will be less than a mile to the downtown restaurants, museums, and shops. The house is equipped with WiFi and there is a Roku, an Xbox, and plenty of movies if you want to just stay in.

Please note, we do not have a washer and dryer for guest use.

Our home is pet-friendly, but please let us know if you are bringing a pet. A $50 pet fee will apply.

Our house is close to parks, museums, creeks, trails & w/in a 50 min drive of 9 world-class ski areas, with Loveland being 10 only minutes away. Other recreational activities include fishing, hiking, & biking the Guanella Pass. It's perfect for couples, business travelers, families, big groups, and furry friends. Be aware we are in the mountains so if there is a lot of snow you may need a 4WD or AWD to access our property.

No smoking or open fires on the property inside or out. No pot tourists please.

The pictures don’t do it justice. Silver Cloud Cabin was a perfect fit for our family of 9. It was very clean and had everything we needed. My son brought his dog. No smell from previous pets. The quaint town is only a few blocks away with unique shops. Restaurants were within walking distance and Georgetown Lake was the fishing spot for my grandsons. Can’t wait to go back! We appreciated the owner’s hospitality.

Clean and Comfortable

We usually stay in at the GTown Mt Inn. This was a nice change. Much easier with kids and dogs. The house had big rooms, each with their own bathroom. It was clean and the host was very responsive. Will do again! (PS - My boys loved the tub of lincoln logs.)

Perfect for us!

Everything was as described. 3 en suites were perfect for 3 women. Better than any hotel with amenities! Our best VRBO yet and we come annually to CO! We didn’t get to enjoy the deck because it was cool and windy but we grilled. Only negative-and it wasn’t an issue-was we couldn’t get the large screen TV to work. A loose railing for the front door steps should be repaired. We had a great time!

Perfect Getaway

Great house layout

The little fenced yard was so great for the pups. The 3 level house was perfect if you want some privacy or have multiple families staying. Gives you ways to not be on top of each other. The foldout couches allow the rooms to hold more people or to use a bedroom as a hangout spot.

Exactly as photos show

Lovely place to meet up with our adult daughter to celebrate her birthday. Georgetown is cute and so is this house. Very quiet neighborhood and lovely deck that opens to a nice little yard our mini dachshund enjoyed exploring. Beds were super comfy, house was immaculate, towels and linens were top quality. Kitchen was well stocked and everything was thought of. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay here next time we come to see our daughter.

Great stay!

Clean and convenient, we really enjoyed our time in this Georgetown property! Of note is the privacy of three bedrooms, each with its own bath. Kitchen and dining area fantastic, and loved the deck and looking at stars and mountains in the evening. Property contact was wonderful, for all questions got right back to us. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We liked the property, a pizza box was left in oven. We realized after we turned oven on. The garbage disposal didn’t work we had to go under sink reset.

Best stocked rental ever!

The host is readily available; answers text and phone calls quickly. This home is immaculate!!! This is truly the best amenity stocked rental we’ve rented. Thank goodness for garbage bags , plenty of towels, paper goods and kitchen wares. Also a closet filled with children toys and adult games .Views of mountains that surround the valley in every direction from the deck . Although it is dog friendly there wasn’t a dog hair or odor anywhere. Close to Loveland Pass and Mt Evans. Just a perfect spot. Georgetown has a lot to offer including great history; breweries , shops and eateries. Bedrooms are large; beds comfortable and plenty of hot water.

Small Town Fun

We enjoyed staying in Georgetown. The house was perfect for our older kids and us. Lots of places to socialize, play cards, and eat meals together. Beds were vary comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious. Enjoyed our stay!

Wedding Weekend

Wonderful house for a large family! Well stocked kitchen and baths, each bedroom has king size beds and on-suite bathrooms - the perfect amount of privacy and shared space. Wi-fi, streaming TV, comfortable gathering spot. We were in close proximity to everything in town. This owner has thought of everything, pet-friendly if you need it, and lots of toys for the entire family. The little ones very much appreciated that! We really enjoyed the coffee and tea bar. Beautiful interior, WIFI worked well, even sent a bear one night to search the trash. Sorry we did not see the bear - I think. Georgetown is a very cute town. Rode the train, liked the adventure.

Welcome to our home! We are Danae and Nathan and are both Colorado natives. Our house in Georgetown is a long term dream that we have had for at least a decade! We were so lucky to have found our place and are glad to share it with others. I am a homeschool mom for our two daughters and my husband is a computer engineer. We have 4 dogs and are always grateful to have a place where we can travel with them. We are happy to provide the same convenience to other families.

Why they chose this property

My husband has always loved Georgetown, but until 2016 we hadn't found the perfect house for us. We love that the rooms are suite style since we often get away with other friends and family. The fenced backyard makes traveling with our dogs much easier. My favorite time of day is in the morning, sitting on the back porch with a cup of coffee watching the hummingbirds at our feeders. For us, this place melts away our stress. We love the small town community, the slower pace, and that essentially everything in town is within walking distance. The dog park is amazing and so is the playground. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
