We are Wonderful Italy, offering Hospitality and Experiences in uncommon places. We will personally welcome you home and, if you wish, provide you with suggestions on the best places to visit, the best restaurants, and the events the city will offer during your stay!
For those who love relaxation and the sea, Eastern Sicily and the area around Siracusa offer everything you could desire. Starting from the ancient Greek city and heading south, the best-equipped beaches to explore are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella, and Fontane Bianche, named after the natural fresh water springs and the distinctive white sand. Within the island of Ortigia, you will also find equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno) and a free beach named Cala Rossa. Venturing further south, about 30 km away, you will find beautiful untouched and wild beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its Natural Wildlife Oasis, and the beautiful San Lorenzo. For culture enthusiasts, a must-see is the Greek Theatre of Siracusa and the entire archaeological park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into the limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi museum, and also the Latomie dei Cappuccini, as well as Ortigia itself with its historical and cultural beauties in addition to its scenic views. Don't miss Noto, the seafront with the tuna fishery of Avola, and finally the seaside village of Marzamemi. In short, Sicily is a land to explore and its natural and cultural beauties are treasures to behold.
Catania airport is about 60 km away, while the Siracusa train station is reachable in a few minutes.
