Broughton Fell is a picturesque holiday destination located in the beautiful Lake District National Park. The area is known for its stunning natural scenery, charming villages, and outdoor recreational opportunities.
Broughton Fell is situated in the southwestern part of the Lake District, near the small and historic market town of Broughton-in-Furness. This location offers a perfect blend of rolling hills, lush green valleys, and breathtaking vistas of the surrounding fells and mountains.
Away from the fells Britain's coastal path is within a short distance and has stunning views over Morecambe Bay and the Irish Sea. The area is perfect for cyclists on the quieter and flatter country roads.
The 200 year old Cumbrian Bank barn retains many traditional features combined with modern day comforts to ensure a relaxing and peaceful break away no matter the time of year. The Stable is a ground floor 1 bedroom cottage, whilst the 2 bedroom Hayloft is on the upper ground and first floor. The cottages can be rented together to accommodate 6 people.
The cottage is heated by oil central heating and comprises: Ground floor porch with bench seating and space for coats and boots. Master double bedroom with king size bed and feature stone wall, a step down leads to a dressing room/nursery with access to the en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and WC. Twin bedroom which can convert to a super king bed or a single room (please advise at the time of booking). Bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and WC.
The open plan first floor is full of character with original beams and exposed stone wall. The living room has comfy seating around the TV, selection of books and games and dining table. The kitchen area is equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge with icebox, dishwasher and microwave.
All electric, oil, bed linen and towels provided. Cot, highchair and stairgate available. Private parking for 1 car.
