Cartref is a one-bedroom annex of a larger house, with its own private entrance and outdoor seating area. It is conveniently located just a stones throw from Criccieth town centre. With its colourful and quirky styling throughout, it offers a cosy and interesting base for a couple looking to explore North Wales. Criccieth is seen as the gateway to the marvellous Llyn Peninsula.
Ground Floor
Kitchen
A compact kitchen with striking pink granite worktops and welsh slate flooring, electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster and kettle.
Dining/Snug Room
At the heart of the cottage is a cosy dining area with comfortable arm chairs.
First Floor
Sitting Room
A brightly-coloured sitting room, furnished with eclectic taste and overlooking the garden. It has two armchairs and a daybed sofa that can be used as an additional bed if required. There is also a smart TV
Bedroom 1
With a double bed set against exposed stonework. There is an ensuite shower room with a corner shower, WC and basin

A second bathroom which has a bath with shower over and basin
Cloakroom
A cloakroom to talk about, with its bright wallpaper and turquoise loo.
Outside
A large open lawned area enjoying views across Criccieth to the Castle and Cardigan Bay. There is also a small terraced area with outside seating and a firepit for those cooler evenings.
The Local Area
Criccieth is home to one of Wales most spectacular castles, overlooking the Cambrian Coast. Just a short walk from the house you'll find the delightful Idris Cafe serving delicious chocolate eclairs and freshly baked bread. Poachers Restaurant is a must visit, along with evening drinks at Dylans. Just a short drive from Criccieth is Portmeirion, the Italian themed village made famous by the 1960s TV series ‘The Prisoner'. Criccieth is also one of the gateways into Snowdonia, with hundreds of mountains walks to explore and, for thrill seekers, Zip World isn't far away.
