Nice cottage but some important points missed in listing

A couple of things that we felt should be mentioned for future guests. Parking is very tight, this should have been explained before we arrived late at night to find there was no way we would fit our vehicle in the small space offered, turning space is very limited too. The cottage is near a pub which seems like it is a locals pub who like to sing karaoke loudly Friday-Sunday, this could be heard when inside without any windows open. The cottage was not the cleanest we have stayed in, when opening the door and walking past the living room there was a strong smell of dog which put us off wanting to sit in that room. In the bathroom there were hairs in the shower and dust and a couple of small hairs on top of the cistern, edges of carpet had signs of dust and when my daughter was the first person to walk upstairs she walked right into a cobweb. However, the good thing about this cottage was that it was very cosy and is very central and close to the beach. Communication was a little slow prior to our stay but I expected whilst we stayed that messages would be checked, but when we had an issue upon arrival, as it was late, I expected a reply the next day, but didn't actually receive anything until almost 48 hours later. There is no grass at all in the small bit of garden which was a pain for us as we had to keep walking down the road to some grass so our dog could go to the toilet, may not affect everyone but it would have been useful for us to know.
