About this property
Villa Oliva Blu by Wonderful Italy
Beautiful ecofriendly villa perfectly integrated with the environment and the countryside between Ostuni and Carovigno, a corner of paradise where you can spend your vacations between relaxation and nature.
The villa, with the typical structure of Apulian dwellings, is a perfect mix of modernity and tradition. It uses solar energy and rainwater through a recycling system. The entrance leads to the living area where there is a super-equipped kitchen with a dining table facing the outdoor veranda overlooking the olive trees. Two specular doors lead to the rest of the rooms: on one side a large living room with a sofa and armchairs, from which you then reach the first bedroom with a queen-size bed and a bathroom with shower. On the other side is the rest of the sleeping area, with an additional master bedroom and a triple bedroom with a bunk bed consisting of a single and a double bed. An additional bathroom with shower is also located here.
Free wifi, air conditioning and heat pump heating will be available in the villa.
The exterior boasts a large courtyard surrounded by olive trees, two furnished verandas perfect for dining on cool summer evenings, and an outdoor bathroom with toilet and shower.
Guests will benefit from three outdoor parking slots inside the property.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
We also offer our guests authentic experiences to live in contact with the locals. If interested, please contact us; we will be happy to help you create your perfect vacation discovering the beauty of Italy.
Ostuni, known to the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Itria Valley. Its blindingly white, immense historic center culminates in the Cathedral (600 meters from the apartment) that soars over the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a crystal-clear sea. Characteristic are its narrow streets, the Piazza della Libertà (5 minutes away) and the column of St. Oronzo that majestically protects the town.
Its countryside stretches into the heart of the Itria Valley. A few kilometers away is Ceglie Messapica, a center of tradition and enogastronomy; Cisternino, a village recognized as one of the most beautiful in Italy; and Alberobello, whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Archaeological Park of Egnatia, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with a charming historic center and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while proceeding south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westward there is Taranto, heart of Magna Graecia, and finally to Matera, characteristic for its sassi and European Capital of Culture 2019.
Bari-Karol Wojtyla International Airport is a 40-minute drive, while Bari Airport is 110 km away.
