About this property
Glamping Barns & Bothy, in Caldbeck, Lake District
Step back in time to 1666 in our renovated Grade II listed Glamping Barns & Bothy with sauna. Ideal for a group of friends or large family situated in the Village Centre.3 self contained Barns outdoor grounds and garden area ideally situated in the heart of the village. Excellently positioned on The Cumbrian Way. We are looking forward to sharing our picturesque barns & village with lovers of the Lake District, scenic walking trails and the magnificent Cumbrian mountains of the Northern Fells.
The space
A truly unique glamping experience staying in these old barns and bothy dating back to circa 1666. The sleeping area is split into 3 self catering barns and a bothy. A studio with everyone together in 1 room in each barn and a mezzanine platform with king size bed in the bothy. With a sauna attached to the bothy makes for a nice way to unwind after a days walking on the fells! Nice gardens and grounds are a perfect place for a barbecue or a few relaxing drinks in the sun. Or light the fire pit in the evening & enjoy the stars at night! A wood fired pizza oven is also for your use!!
It is important to remember that we provide pillows, cases, towels, shower gels etc.., but guests must bring there own sleeping bags/ duvets.
The village itself packs in loads of amenities so read all about it in the overview section of The Neighborhood....the Lake District's best kept secret!

On arrival we recommend parking in the free public car park which is directly opposite the barn. The car park is outside the Village Pub. Walk down to the wooden gate at the side of the barns and enter there. Walk under the lean to and the barns are here! You have arrived!
