Casa Carlita is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath home located two blocks from the ocean front in the residential neighborhood Corpus Christi. The home has a comfortable living and dining area with delightful rustic Mexican furniture. The bedrooms are large, at opposite ends of the house, each with its own bath for total privacy.

The modern kitchen offers a breakfast bar and is fully equipped including stove, refrigerator, blender, microwave, coffee maker,toaster, dishes and cookware. Central air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout. The air conditioning can be set thermostatically in each room via a hand held remote. In Casa Carlita guests will enjoy the comforts of home, including cable TV,VCR/DVD and stereo. There is a small safe with a programmable digital lock, DVD movies and a reading library. Wireless high speed internet access is free, so bring your lap top.

The front courtyard is surrounded by a high wall that offers guests the total private use of the kidney shaped swimming pool. There's plenty of outdoor furniture and lounge chairs for relaxing in the sun,an outdoor shower and scuba rinse tank for scuba divers to rinse their gear or snorkeling equipment.

Casa Carlita offers top quality accommodations for 2-5 guests, a great location only one street away from the newest and largest grocery store on Cozumel, complete with deli, bakery, pharmacy, liquor, and several ATM machines. Nearby is a modern new multi-screen movie theatre, there is a public beach within walking distance, plus Casa Carlita is within walking distance to town.

Casa Carlia is an Awesome place to stay!

We have stayed at Casa Carlita's several times. This time was for two weeks. Each time has been wonderful. Everything at the house is perfect. Communication with Carla and her local representative, Victor is great! The home has everything you need and the pool area is it's own paradise. Will stay again in the future. Thank you.

Just like home

Our stay was very enjoyable, as the property was well maintained and equipped with all necessary provisions. Carla was very helpful in answering our questions, and helping us book the week that we wanted. We had a wonderful host, Victor, to greet us, and a exceptional cleaning lady, Mary, who insured our stay was top notch. The house was comfortable and was perfect for our stay in Cozumel. Perfect in every way

I absolutely love this house and the entire staff. The only challenge is that it’s always booked - for very good reasons! It is quiet, very comfortable and very clean. Carla (host) is super responsive and Victor and Maria are wonderful. The private pool is spectacular before and after diving. It’s super convenient to rinse and store dive gear which I really appreciate. It’s far enough off the beaten path to not feel touristy and close enough to get to everything. Can’t recommend it enough.

Casa Carlita is Awesome!!!

Okay, if you look back at some of the past guest's comments, you will see a common theme with my wife and me. This is because this was our fifth stay at Casa Carlita and we have already booked our sixth for 2024. Carla's home is clean and organized. She recently purchased a new refrigerator and gas stove. Both are great. Her local representative Victor is very helpful and friendly. The home is very close to the grocery store, restaurants and about a 15 minute walk downtown. Thank you Carla. My adult son and I spent six days at Casa Carlita's and the stay surpassed my expectations. The home, the people, the beautiful ocean views, were just fantastic. Online reviews sometimes scare a person; I am happy to note that every scary thing I read about Cozumel was not true. We opted to skip maid service, but tipped anyway, realizing this is how people make their living. However, I did meet the lady that came on our last day and she was as sweet as can be! Victor, the VRBO representative, met us at the airport, waited for us to pick up our rental vehicle, and led us to the house; this in itself was FANTASTIC, it gave us time to acclimate to driving in Cozumel without worrying where we were going. Although we did not call Victor for assistance, we navigated and explored our way around with our mobile phone GPS; it was so CALMING and REASSURING to know that he was a telephone call away and would immediately assist us with anything if need be. This to me, was a HUGE asset, being in another country and having a personal contact was awesome. I am a single 65 yr old female and I came back excited to know that I can go to Cozumel by myself, rent a car, stay in Casa Carlita's and have the most wonderful time alone, travel around the island and be SAFE! There is not one thing that was lacking at the home, everything was PERFECT, I would not consider staying anywhere else on my next visit!

Casa Carlita

We loved our time at Casa Carlita! It was my husband, daughters (8 and 10), and myself. It was a beautiful and very clean house. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. It was 2 blocks walk to a grocery store and my children loved the pool! The owner and the home manager were very easy to get a hold of and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend Casa Carlita!

All we needed and exactly what we expected. A great house that we will certainly go back to. For us, the location was amazing, We had a car as we are there to dive and wanted to get about easily when we wanted to. Another Awesome Vacation at Casa Carlita

Carla certainly deserves a Superhost rating

This was our first trip to Cozumel. We came for diving. We rented a vehicle. Casa Carlita was perfect for our stay. Very convenient, quiet and comfortable. Most importantly, the property was EXACTLY as described. In addition, Carla and her staff were one-step ahead of us at all times. We were met at the airport. The housecleaning was top notch. Best Place to stay in Cozumel

To start with, this was our third stay at Casa Carlita and we have already booked two more stays here for 2023. The home is clean / organized and comfortable. The pool and garden area is perfect for relaxation. The walls are tall for privacy, but you still get great breezes. Downtown is walking distance for great food and entertainment. The neighborhood is quiet. Victor (house rep) and Maria (housecleaner) are wonderful. Host Carla is quick to respond to questions and follows up to make sure we are happy. Excellent Stay

The owners were awesome to work with from start to finish! Great communication throughout the trip. The house was equipped with everything you would need from towels, linens, plates, glasses, pots & pans ect. The house was extremely clean thanks to Mary the cleaning lady! The pool was great for relaxing when we weren't out and about on the island. Great location!!! A block away from the grocery store, two & 1/2 blocks from the Melgar. About a 15 minute walk into town. Never once did we feel unsafe in the neighborhood! Can't say enough about the house!! We'll definitely re-book when it's available 😊

Fabulous!

Stayed 5 days with family and this place is great. It’s decor is warm and welcoming, pool and outside area is the perfect place to hang out. Communication with both the owner and the property manager was efficient with instant responses. The 2 cleaning ladies were very sweet and did a fantastic job. This case has everything you need to wind down and relax. Very close to grocery stores and Main Street. We hope to return in the future! Thanks so much for everything.

Casa Carlita is incredible!

Wow! Casa Carlita is an incredible home with a wonderfully convenient location—in a very quiet and very safe neighborhood, yet only a short walk into the center of town: less than a mile (and even shorter walk—0.2 miles—to several restaurants and 2 supermarkets). The home itself is well appointed and had everything we could possibly need for cooking and relaxing (and so many pool and beach towels!)—and even bikes! Taking a quick dip in the pool in the mornings and lingering there in the afternoons and evenings was a perfect and relaxing way to start and end the day. Our bed was *really* comfortable, and having AC units throughout the house made the tropical August heat inconsequential—and we sometimes even turned them off because they were so effective. Carla offered a comprehensive overview of the property, restaurants, activities, and general advice, which was so helpful! The home is in a fantastic area where we (2 women) felt safe walking around at *all* hours. Two blocks away was a Chendraui (like a Target or Walmart super center, but so.much.more!), so don’t worry if you left anything at home—you will find it there. Chendraui also has numerous ATMs where you can withdraw Mexican pesos or American dollars, and is a predictable spot to always find a taxi in case you need to go farther than you care to walk (like the beaches farther south). The entire stay was made especially delightful by both Victor and Maria. Victor met us at the airport and escorted our flex car to the home. He oriented us to the house, amenities, vicinity, and things to do, and entertained all of our questions. He offered wonderful suggestions, including a Río Secréto excursion and a recommendation to visit Playa Palancar (arrive early for the best spots!) for a day at the beach. It was really indulgent and a great way to spend the day snorkeling, swimming, and generally relaxing. Again, Victor is incredible. He is kind, warm, connecting, and immensely helpful! We can’t thank you enough, Victor!! Maria is incredible—kind, warm, connecting, and immensely helpful! We can’t thank you enough, Maria!! Maria took care of the entire casa while we were there. She was there every day to clean dishes, sheets, floors, everything. The house was refreshed every day. And it was great spending time chatting with Maria!! She is a gem of a human!! We fell in love with the island, Casa Carlita, Victor, and Maria, and cannot wait to return next year!

Amazing Cozumel home base

Our family of 5 (adults and teens) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Carlita! Everything was great from the communication with the host to our interactions with Victor, the home representative. The home is just as it shows in the listing with a great location and place to relax after a full day of adventuring on the island. We especially appreciated the outdoor shower to rinse the sand and then the pool to relax in the evenings. Victor helped arrange a jeep rental and we explored the other side of the island one day—Chen Rio was a favorite stop for drinks and swimming. We splurged for a cabana at Cabana Beach one day and it was totally worth it—amazing snorkeling and a day of relaxation. Stop scrolling and book this home! We hope to stay again in the future.

Another Wonderful Stay at Casa Carlita

This was our second vacation at Carla’s. The home has everything we need. The pool and landscape is well maintained. The house is close enough to walk to Centro but far enough away to enjoy the peaceful neighborhood. We love it so much we will be back in December and already booked for 2023. Carla is very responsive to questions and requests. Victor is the local representative and is very helpful. Maria does a great job cleaning the home as often as you want. Amazing!

We spent two amazing weeks here. Everything was perfect from start to finish, so much that we rebooked for next year! Carla was extremely quick to answer any questions we had. Victor was also the same. Maria took great care of us. The location is literally in the back door of Chedraui (grocery store), lots of restaurants very close by, very safe neighborhood. It was nice having our own private pool. Again, just amazing all the way around!!

Craig and I live between three homes. Washington State, Arizona and Cozumel. Craig is an attorney who practices law in the State of Washington, but thanks to technology, he is able to work from Cozumel and Arizona as well.

Why they chose this property

After diving all over the Caribbean, we found that we enjoyed Cozumel as much above the water as we did below the water. The diving was great and the people in Cozumel were even greater. We felt very much at home on our first visit to Cozumel and within two years we had completed our home away from home.

What makes this property unique

Location, Location, Location. Casa Carlita is close to everything that Cozumel has to offer, but the home is very quiet and private. We are only a 2 minutie walk to a major grocery store, a ten minute walk to some fun restuarants and a 5 minute walk to the pier near Margaritaville to catch your dive boat. Guests appreciate our excellent maid service and the loads of amenities provided including wireless internet, free long distance to US and Canada, DVD player with over 200 movies, books, etc to choose from. Our courtyard is surrounded by a high wall for complete privacy.
