Little gem in a quiet spot!
Just a lovely find in a nearly new lodge on a five star site. We had a cockerel with us and nice coming in to some treats for us and him! Having 2 good sized bedrooms and an en-suite was great, not cramped like others we’ve stayed in. Check in and out was simple and parking next to the lodge on the driveway. An enclosed veranda was helpful too with a dog! Well stocked kitchen and towels were helpful too. The site has a bar opens weekly on a Saturday throughout the summer from what we could see but we didn’t use the facilities. From the site there is a lovely walk to the nearest beach and dog friendly, Cei Bach, I think it was called, got there and quiet rough water and the tide was in but when it went out you can walk so much further to the left, nice 2-4 hours out if you aren’t rushing, not far from New Quay town down the road which is a lovely harbour town but no dogs on beach. Not far to Aberaeron and then on to Aberystwyth about 40 minutes away. Really pleased with our choice and very happy.
