About this property
La Casa Dei Nonni, House With Private Pool, Torino
An old farmhouse from the 1700s transformed into a beautiful holiday home with a private swimming pool, nestled in the hills of Monferrato.
It is the ideal place to spend a quiet holiday, surrounded by greenery and silence. The house is spread over 3 floors and is characterised by large rooms and expertly furnished with period furniture combined with designer furniture from the sixties.
You can spend beautiful evenings dining on the large porch, surrounded by flowers, on which there is a beautiful dining table and a sitting area to chat while looking at the stars.
The swimming pool is surrounded by greenery and is completely fenced and equipped with deck chairs and umbrellas to relax and sunbathe. The owner who lives in the other half of the house leaves the guests exclusive use of the swimming pool.
To fully enjoy your holiday, it is recommended to have your own vehicle to visit the wonderful Langhe area (UNESCO heritage), full of ancient villages, some of the most beautiful castles in Italy (less than 30 km from the house, the Camino Castle, the Uviglie Castle and the Razzano Castle), characteristic underground cellars "infernot" and home of the truffle.
Sports enthusiasts can go trekking or cycling along the paths that wind through the hills next to the house.
From here it is possible to go and visit some of the beautiful cities of north-west Italy: Turin, Asti, Alessandria, Novara and, in a couple of hours, you can reach the Ligurian coast or the beautiful mountains of the Aosta Valley.
The last 200 m to get to the house are characterized by a narrow, uphill and dirt road.
In addition to the famous International White Truffle Fair in Alba, which is an hour's drive from the house (11 October - 8 December), there are other white truffle fairs within a radius of 8/10 km in
