I am a graduate of the University of Dundee, where I earned my degree in Graphic Design. During my studies, I had the pleasure of living in Forfar for four years, and I quickly developed a deep appreciation for the town and its vibrant community.

Forfar, with its rich history and welcoming atmosphere, offers a unique blend of traditional charm and modern convenience. The town is well-known for its heritage, including the iconic Forfar Bridie, a local delicacy that reflects the area’s proud culinary traditions. The community spirit in Forfar is strong, with numerous local events and markets that bring residents together, fostering a sense of belonging and connection.

What I particularly loved about Forfar was its ideal location. Nestled between the entrance to the Scottish Highlands and the stunning East Coast beaches, Forfar truly offers the best of both worlds. Whether I wanted to explore the rugged, scenic landscapes of Glen Clova and the surrounding glens or relax on the pristine shores of Lunan Bay, everything was within easy reach. The town’s proximity to Dundee and Aberdeen also made it convenient for accessing larger cities while still enjoying the tranquility of a smaller town.

Throughout my time in Forfar, I remained very active, taking full advantage of the numerous outdoor activities available. Whether hiking in the nearby Angus Glens, cycling through the picturesque countryside, or simply enjoying a leisurely walk around Forfar Loch, there was always something to do that connected me with the beautiful Scottish environment.

Why they chose this property

When choosing the ideal location for my next chapter, Forfar immediately stood out. Having lived there for four years while studying Graphic Design at the University of Dundee, I developed a strong connection to the town and its community. Forfar’s rich history, close-knit atmosphere, and convenient access to both urban centers and natural beauty made it an ideal choice. The town’s vibrant culture and welcoming environment always made me feel at home, and I knew it would be the perfect place to continue my journey.

Forfar’s location is truly unparalleled. Nestled between the majestic Scottish Highlands and the stunning East Coast beaches, it offers easy access to some of Scotland’s most breathtaking landscapes. Whether it's exploring the scenic Angus Glens, enjoying the tranquility of Forfar Loch, or visiting the nearby cities of Dundee and Aberdeen, Forfar provides the best of both worlds. This unique combination of natural beauty and accessibility, along with the town’s inspiring surroundings, made it the perfect place to live, work, and thrive.
