Upon arrival, our code did not work. Thankfully, 45 minutes later in the Texas Sun and Heat, someone was able to come and assist us into our room. She left, but within five minutes, we knew we needed to call back, as one of the bedrooms was locked upstairs . So, we waited about another 45 minutes for a maintenance person to arrive. Problem solved.
The air conditioning did not work the first night and the house made everybody pretty sweaty at 81°. Thankfully, the maintenance guy came and replaced the capacitor the next morning.
Both upstairs toilets need rubber valve replacements. You know, the flapper. Each one constantly leaks itself and has to refill continuously. Pretty annoying listening to it all night. Problem remains, so get that one fixed.
On our last night, the upstairs air-conditioning leaks from the ceiling onto the mattress, taking out one of the sleeping arrangements. Really not much you can do when it happens overnight. But we did lose that bed.
It’s pretty wet and now there’s a big water stain.
A/C drips into shower stall constantly. Hard to sleep hearing that and the leaky toilet.
Hot Tub was same temp as pool.
If you’re into Vintage and the “Worn Look”, then you’ll feel at home. No renovation in last 25+ years is my guess.
Not a negative review here at all. I can make the best out of almost anything.
