Still under full renovation till mid October ! Blakeney is the jewel in the crown along the North Norfolk coast. 21a is a Real character cottage. Everyone that’s been inside whilst I’ve been doing it has adored it ! In Blakeney everything is a stones throw away, so handy to pop out for a hearty breakfast, walk along the quayside taking in the scenery and atmosphere or an evening meal at any of the local pubs in and around Blakeney. A Quaint coastal village that appeals to walkers, birders and anyone looking for a well deserved break! So blessed to have a mother that was born in the village and I still have many aunts n uncles today that are here too.The village hall often has things going on as does the harbour rooms on the high street.An enclosed south facing newly layed patio has just been finished for you to enjoy private al-fresco dining on your holiday.As soon as you walk in through the patio doors you’ll be wowed by the exposed cobbles and soft reds along the back of the cottage ,the dusky pink kitchen,granite tops with all the mod cons.Soft oak flooring and contemporary Farrow&ball colour schemes throughout you’ll really get in the mood to relax and enjoy your chilled Norfolk holiday . An Oak gateleg table and 2 chairs,a comfortable 3 seater Alston sofa and arm chair are all well placed in the living area ,smart tv and a plug in wood burning stove for those chilly evenings- sorry no chimney! They were taken out 40+years ago .An easy gated staircase with handrails that has been carpeted for noise reduction,going up from the lounge,welcomed if you’re not great on difficult stairs! Upstairs is light and airy with a big shower and traditional toilet and round basin. Original stripped pine floor boards upstairs.The large bedroom faces south and overlooks the communal lawn the carpark and “The pastures” too. Either side of my cottage are second homes so not used very much at all, making 21a quite a private Bolthole .One s-m or (2small)well behaved non shedding dogs are welcome. Please contact me regarding your dog breed/ size.There will be NO DOGS UPSTAIRS / pet gate on stairs .Please ensure your dog is clean on entry to the property , Thankyou .The outside patio area is all tiled so it’s handy for doggo to dry off or be cleaned there.A medium Dog crate is provided, please completely cover all the furniture especially if your dog jumps up. (Furniture is material).Parking is for 1 car & accessed via Westgate street. ( reverse in )please park so others can easily get Parked to . If you prefer to park at the village hall across the road there is a lay-by you can easily pull upon for 20 mins to unload. Village hall parking is free 24/7.
