Cultural destinations in the area include arts centre Kings Place, the Gagosian Gallery, British Library, and Bloomsbury Theatre. King’s Cross is full of bars and restaurants, many of them along the canalside as well as surrounding the station. King’s Cross is one of London’s most newly regenerated areas. With 50 new buildings, 20 new streets, and 10 new public squares, it is a dynamic and exciting place to be. As indication, (Hidden by Airbnb) 's UK office is due to move here in 2016, The Guardian newspaper headquarters are already here, and the Eurostar now connects London with mainland Europe. It is also home to several cultural institutions – such as Central St Martins and Kings Place – as well as many bars and restaurants, like The St Pancras Grand. King's Cross was named after a huge monument of King George IV in 1835, which stood where King's Cross station - designed by the architect Lewis Cubitt – now resides. Following the Second World War, this busy industrial district underwent economic decline and, by the 1990s, was in need of regeneration. Amazing location - King’s Cross
I had good correspondence with the host prior to this stay. The property is tucked slightly down a side street, and when I couldn’t locate it I called the host and she stayed on the phone with me until I was inside. The location is great, only two blocks from Kings Cross. Kitchen was stocked. The only negatives were that only one towel was provided per person, so no hand towel in the bathroom or kitchen towel; the toilet seat was broken so you slid around a bit. The bathroom

Not a good choise for me
The apartment is well located close to king cross you can access the train and the metro very easily. But that's the only positive point. It's very noisy, because of the road. All the buses or track make the walls vibrated. The single windows don't stop any noise (shouting, deliveries, traffic...) nor the fresh air. The bed is uncomfortable and the extra bed is not better. The bathroom is so small that you can't really sit on the toilet and the cleanliness depends on the neighbour who uses it.

This property is in an ideal location for all. Underground and rail station just minutes away by foot. Property itself was great, clean and tidy. The room does sit on a main road, with single glazed windows so there is always noise however this did not affect our stay. Great property!

Perfect location for Kings Cross/St Pancras with clear instructions and responses from the host. Everything was clean, tidy even with a shared bathroom - size of the room was big, spacious for a london room and comfortable bed.
