Villa Ciliegio - Cefalù, Sicilia

Villa Il Ciliegio is located in Cefalù, which is an excellent base from which to discover Sicily. It is located in an elevated position near the paths of the Madonie National Park, with panoramic views of the sea, Cefalù and the Aeolian Islands. For those who enjoy walking, the villa is ideal as there are paths leading from the garden through the Madonie National Park. The delights of the coast are also nearby with a series of sandy beaches, excellent seafood restaurants and the pretty town of Cefalù, all within easy reach by car.

Interior:

Villa il Ciliegio is a classic Sicilian country villa with lots of character and charm. Stone walls, wooden shutters and wood-beamed ceilings frame the bright interiors furnished in a comfortable country style. While the communal areas are air-conditioned in the bedrooms, fans have been preferred. The villa is nevertheless cool and comfortable.

Ground floor: In the spacious living area there is a country-style kitchen, a dining room and two open-plan living areas with French windows overlooking the garden. The antique wooden furniture, large sofas, terracotta floors and colourful Sicilian ceramic tiles give the house warmth and character. On the upper floor are four double bedrooms, one of which can be converted into a twin. Each has wood-beamed ceilings and sea views. Two of these rooms share a bathroom with bathtub. The other two rooms each have an en-suite shower room

Exterior/Park:

Extensive gardens surround the villa and boast a panoramic swimming pool, various relaxation areas and cool dining areas. Outside, in a lovely lawn garden shaded by trees, there are deck chairs and sunbeds for sunbathing or relaxing in the shade. The wisteria-covered outdoor dining area is the setting for many delicious Sicilian meals.

Swimming pool:

The panoramic swimming pool is 9.5 m x 4 m with a constant depth of 1.50 m. The pool is open from  May 1st to October 31st.
