As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a fully equipped modern kitchen and open-plan dining area, complete with a feature fireplace that sets a cosy, inviting atmosphere. The new kitchen is split over 2 levels and is accessed from the dining area on a third lower level. Adjacent is the living room hosting a 48in TV, and where another feature fireplace adds to the room’s character - perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring, with comfortable seating for relaxing with a good book or enjoying a movie night.
Venture up the winding stairs to the second floor, where you’ll find a charming bedroom with a bunk bed and a single bed, perfect for children or additional guests. The family bathroom on this floor features a corner bath with a shower, offering a relaxing spot to refresh after a day at the beach. You’ll also find a washing machine neatly tucked away in a cupboard, providing added convenience for your stay. Continue further up the winding stairway to the top level of the house, which contains the master bedroom with a king-size bed. This retreat offers a peaceful haven for restful nights.
The Wee House is steeped in history featuring many original features and has been sympathetically modernised to ensure a comfortable stay making it ideal for couples or a family of four.
The cottage is perfectly located with a pub just 120 metres, two grocery shops within 150 metres and West Looe Quayside just 200 metres.
Just a short walk over the bridge takes you into East Looe’s narrow cobbled streets with an abundance of restaurants, pubs and artisan shops providing local produce. The town also offers a stunning sandy beach popular with families due to its sheltered location and shallow water for swimming, or you can enjoy one of the many boat trips from the harbour.
There are many attractions within easy reach of Looe such as Portfell Wildlife Park, The Adrenalin Quarry, The Monkey Sanctuary, The Eden Project and many National Trust properties. The south west coast path is easily accessible from the house giving you access to the stunning coastline of South Cornwall.
The railway station is just across the river in East Looe where you can take the picturesque Looe Vally Line to Liskeard, there is also a very good bus service meaning a car is not necessary.
The Wee House offers a charming and historic escape and is the perfect coastal retreat in an ideal location for exploring this beautiful area of Cornwall.
