About this property
The Little White House
Enjoy a taste of seaside living during your stay in this charming three-storey 19th-century coastal property in the picturesque and ancient market town of Dartmouth. The laid-back open-plan living space with a bohemian edge is the perfect space for socialising with your small family or the other half after a day of delving into the history of the town, swimming in the sea and exploring the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Enter the ground floor to find a bright and comfortable open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with cheerful coloured decor. Snuggle up on the sofa in front of the flame-effect gas fire in the lounge. Next to this area is a stylish farmhouse-style kitchen with contemporary touches and a central wooden dining table with seating for four. Climb the cottage-style stairs to reach the first-floor twin bedroom and a family bathroom. The master double bedroom is on the second floor and boasts views across Dartmouth. Outside is a small bistro set for two to enjoy a refreshing drink in the fresh air.
In the months of May through to November why not attend one of the many events and festivals in the area like the Dartmouth Music Festival, Dartmouth Royal Regatta, Dartmouth Food Festival, Torbay Air Show, Teignmouth Air show, Brixham Pirate Festival, Devon County Show.
During your stay in the heart of the harbour town of Dartmouth, you’ll have an excellent selection of seafood restaurants, traditional pubs, cafes and a museum within 0.5 miles. Stroll to the edge of the River Dart and walk around the harbour (within 0.5 miles) – from here, you can hire a boat or catch a ferry to Kingswear (1 mile) or the 15th-century Dartmouth Castle (1 mile). From the castle, you can follow the South West Coast Path to Sugary Cove Beach and the Sugary Green Park and Garden (1 mile).
