8/10 Good

A few points

The cottage could benefit from more lighting in the living room as very dark. It could do with another comfy chair as could not seat 5 people comfortably. The bedrooms could do with a mirror. The oven was very dirty and could have done with a clean so we didn't like to use it. We could not sit in garden comfortably as chairs were locked in shed along with bbq and we weren't given the combination for the lock. We rang the number given to us but they didn't know the code. Beware of dog mess too in garden right outside back door. Apart from these points we did have a good weekend. Very central position, lots of good pubs with lovely food. Lovely places to visit.

Weekend stay in Burford

Great location and a lovely characterful cottage which we rented for 2 couples. Beds were really comfortable and it’s very tastefully furnished. However it’s shame there isn’t another armchair in the living room as the wooden window seat isn’t the most comfortable. Also a microwave would be handy in the kitchen.
