Welcome to The Old Stables, a detached, stone-built cottage nestled on a quiet backstreet just 100 meters from Ruthin’s vibrant high street. This charming 3-bedroom home, with exposed beams and a feature fireplace, offers a cozy base for exploring North Wales. Perfect for families or couples, enjoy the open-plan living area and fully equipped kitchen. Conveniently located near Snowdonia National Park, the North Wales coast, and the city of Chester, it’s an ideal spot for adventure and relaxation.
Guests have full access to the entire cottage, including a private courtyard for peaceful morning coffee, off-road parking, and the cozy interior spaces. The open-plan living area features comfy sofas, perfect for movie nights, while the kitchen has everything you need for delicious home-cooked meals. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout, and the upstairs offers two double bedrooms and a single, all serviced by a modern bathroom with a choice of bath or shower.

The Old Stables is well located, with a park just a stones throw away and the infamous Ruthin Jail just around the corner. There is a Costa Coffee shop at the top of Ruthin Town.
Snowdonia and all it’s famous attractions include, Mount Snowdon, Longest Zip Wire in Europe - Zipworld, Bounce Below, Surf Snowdonia - Europe’s first and only man made surf lagoon and many more sights to explore. The Coast of North Wales is one of the most stunning and areas of natural beauty in the UK.
You will be able to park your car in the Cae Ddol Park car park with a permit which needs to be on view in your car. The permit will be in the property for you to use in the car park as well as all over the Denbighshire County Council car parks. NB. Parking permit can only be used in Long Stay Car Parks in Denbighshire. Snowdonia is an hour's drive and a fantastic little day out, if you're feeling ambitious, you could walk up Snowdon.
The Old Stables is pet-friendly upon approval and boasts a fantastic location for exploring local attractions. Within walking distance are pubs, restaurants, and quirky independent shops. Ruthin Castle, with its peacocks and gardens, is nearby, as are scenic hiking trails like the Clwydian Way and Loggerheads Country Park. If you're in the mood for a beach day, Abergele and Colwyn Bay are within easy reach. Off-road parking is included, and check-in is contactless for your convenience.
Please leave your shoes in the hall, no shoes upstairs. There are neighbours surrounding you so being a little aware of their presence will be appreciated.
