This place offers everything I expected and more! Fastidiously clean, really attractive and comfortable with plenty of space by comparison to anything we have stayed at in London. The natural light is wonderful and ability to open windows for fresh air and feel safe. All information about the flat is well presented and easy to understand as is the information about the area. The bed is really comfortable as are the pillows and there is plenty of fresh linen. Unlike most places we have rented the owner has thought of everything. Plenty of substantial coat hangers, crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans, all beautifully clean and organised. Even the hand soap was good quality without overwhelming perfume and there was plenty of laundry detergent etc. The French laundry rack made drying clothes really easy. The efficient lift made access really easy. The furnishings are tasteful and comfortable, we could have stayed for weeks. Battersea Square around the corner has good coffee shops and it is most pleasant eating outside. Our compliments to the owner.

We stayed for nearly a month and it was a calming oasis, bookended by stressful travel to other places. The apartment suited our needs well. The bedroom is spacious and light. All the facilities worked, and we were very comfortable. Buki was engaging and lovely to deal with. As we were there for a lengthy stay, we relaxed home a lot. The nearby heliport meant there were loud comings and goings, but it wasn't a problem and became a feature of the daytime entertainment! (It is quiet at night). The 170 bus became my lifeline to the outside world. Would highly recommend for those seeking homely comforts.

We love staying at the Archer House! This was our second visit and enjoyed it so much that we booked our third stay as soon as we got back home! The location is quiet, residential and easy to navigate. The bus stop is only a few minutes walk away and we used it everyday during our 19 day visit. The train station is an easy 15 minute walk or a quick bus trip away. We love the Thames walk that is right across the street. It led us to the Battersea Power Station with all their shops and great restaurants and to Battersea Park. The owners were always quick to respond and Buki (the caretaker)was always just a text message away! We look forward to our return trip!

I recently stayed here for twelve nights and thoroughly enjoyed my time. The apartment was comfortable, and I felt right at home. Buki was very helpful and kind, as were the building maintenance crew. Ian and Annabel maintained great communication before and after the trip. The neighbours I encountered were friendly. There is a park across the street where families with kids and dogs played every day. The apartment has a view of the river. It was so lovely to stay in a safe area, with a residential feel but right around the corner from bus stops to connect anywhere. Despite the overground train and heliport nearby, the noise wasn't that noticeable, and even road noise was surprisingly quiet overnight. (You can always bring a white noise machine or download an app.) There are instructions for appliances, local guidebooks, and Oyster cards to use. Linens, laundry supplies, shampoo, etc. are all provided. With a fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, and cooktop, you could buy groceries and eat in for your entire stay. I highly recommend this accommodation!

Fourth Stay July 2022
Our fourth stay at this lovely flat is sadly coming to an end. Don’t know what more I can say that hasn’t been said before. Always so at home here. We love it! Thanks so much to Annabel and Ian for sharing their flat and many thanks to Buki for making our stay as comfortable as ever! We look forward to returning.
