Just a short drive from the coast in the heart of rural Norfolk, Jasmine Cottage in Sedgeford awaits your discovery! With eclectic style and oodles of character, this quaint little brick and flint cottage boasts a fabulous master bedroom with a free-standing bath. Within easy reach of some excellent pubs, the stunning north Norfolk coastline, world-renowned birding locations, and many other attractions, this hideaway is a perfectly romantic hideaway for couples, or a great base for a small family or group of friends.
The ground floor comprises of a sitting room, dining room, and kitchen, with each tastefully prepared for maximum comfort and convenience. Enjoy the challenge of a board game, or revel in the warmth of the flickering flames from the wood-burning stove on a chilly evening. Grab a takeaway pizza from one of the popular local outlets, or rustle up a delicious meal made from the areas local produce to share in a memorable meal at the dining table. The well-equipped kitchen provides everything required for catering at home, and should you wish to head out to eat, there are plenty of great options nearby.
Upstairs, a wonderfully appointed master bedroom hosts a king-size bed dressed in fine, white linens. And for the ultimate in decadence, a free-standing bath sits near the window for taking in the views as you slow down and relax. Across the landing, the second bedroom offers a 3' single bed and benefits from garden views, and a Velux window for stargazing. These two rooms are served by a shower room with walk-in shower.
Outside, the rear garden provides a secure, private space that has been divided into areas of lawn, flower beds and gravel area. Being fully enclosed, it the ideal space for supervised dogs or children to play. Celebrate any occasion, or just any good weather, with use of the charcoal barbecue and outdoor dining furniture. Jasmine Cottage also provides an off-road parking space for one car. Further on-street parking can be usually be found to the front of the property.
Just a ten minute walk from Jasmine Cottage, the village pub, The King William serves from breakfast to supper, offering a seasonal menu of the finest, locally sourced ingredients. A short drive away, the neighbouring village of Heacham has two dog friendly beaches (enjoy a coffee and the gooiest of treats from Breakfast and Brownies to fuel your beach walk), an excellent farm shop at Norfolk Lavender, plus a Lidl supermarket and a Tesco Express. Golfers can tee off from Heacham Manor Golf Club or Hunstanton Golf Club. Should you require EV chargers, the nearest are located in the Tesco supermarket car park in Hunstanton. For a special culinary experience, head inland from Sedgeford to the village of Docking to sample the delights of the Nest Farmhouse, run by a Michelin star award winning team, or head to the the coastal village of Old Hunstanton to find Michelin restaurant, The Neptune.
