About this property
Trefaen Cottage, Trefaen Cottage in the Brecon Beacons
This cottage is set on a working family farm in the small village of Crai. Wake up to the sound of nothing but birds and tranquility and maybe the odd tractor and sheep. Trefaen Cottage is ideally suited to couples who want to get away and enjoy the Countryside with some walking or general sightseeing in the area.
This old workman's cottage has recently been completely renovated from an old workman’s cottage to an exceptionally high standard property with Oak furnishings, exposed beams and underfloor heating throughout.
This cottage can sleep up to 3 guests with 1 double room and 1 single room. The handmade kitchen has a gorgeous Belfast sink and built-in appliances such as an electric cooker with a ceramic hob, microwave, slimline dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge/freezer.
The spacious living room has a leather sofa and chair, dining table to seat 4 and Smart TV. The master bedroom upstairs is very generous in size with a double oak bed, an oak dressing table, wardrobe, cot and TV with Freeview. The fabulous feature of this room is a free standing romantic roll top bath. The second single bedroom has a rustic set of oak drawers. The contemporary bathroom upstairs has a shower, toilet and hand basin.
This property also accepts a small dog.
It’s a terraced cottage adjoining Llysfaen Cottage and the larger Oak Barn next door.
A highchair and cot are available for guest use in this property. Please bring your own cot blankets as there are not provided as standard.
There is a on-site EV charger for guests with electric vehicles, making it easy to charge up and explore the area.
