Cottage On The Common

A luxury quirky one bedroom dog friendly Holiday Cottage for rent in Malvern, Worcestershire WR14 3JQ. Nestled on the beautiful 'Peachfield Common' on the foot of The Malvern Hills, just minutes from The Three Counties Showground and The Morgan Car Factory
The Cottage On The Common is a traditional rural cottage, with beams, log effect fire and even a quirky staircase. Each room has been refurbished to an excellent standard with a beautiful colour flow of creams, greens and wood. Enjoy a cuppa or a bottle of wine on the secluded sun-trap areas, in the morning on the front 'Compass Patio'. Then early afternoon on our quirky rear Garden Patio which also has a lovely stream running through the rear border.

From the moment you enter the porch' the establishment oozes a high quality standard; indeed many of the furnishings are of famous luxury brands such as William Morris & Laura Ashley. Each room has a different cottage theme and altogether they blend to give you the perfect relaxing home from home abode. The lounge is very cosy with a luxury 'Sofa Centre' chair & sofa and there is a calming blend of creams and wood plus beautiful lined GP & J Baker curtains with vibrant reds and golds, which have been matched with same pattern cushions and Laura Ashley throws and cushions. Then you move into our Country styled Kitchen with hopped beams, we have the luxury microwave, gas cooker and fridge freezer which all blend in to the area giving you a relaxing vibe. This leads up a beautiful character staircase which is both original and quirky; we've sanded back the original wood and it looks the result is stunning!

Then we have the French themed Bedroom, beautifully styled by Heather with a lovely centrepiece Chandelier. We can offer a super king bed or twins and the furnishings are of the highest quality. Plus the view from the window is heavenly with uninterrupted views of the stunning 'Peachfield Common'.Finally we have the Seaside Bathroom with bath and shower; very nautical with boats and them.

A warm welcome in a wonderfully cute cottage near everything
We loved the cottage it was small,. comfortable and cosy, felt like being at home. Everything you needed was available they have thought of every detail. Very central to all parts of Malvern and neighbouring areas. Plenty to see and do and if you love walking and being with your furry family member, it is a perfect place to be. Heather and Chris were fabulous hosts and their pub in Staplow was fabulous also.

Heather and Chris own the property and purchased the cottage in July 2024 and opened for business in October 2024. They manage the multi award winning Inn/Restaurant 'The Oak Inn Staplow' just 5 minutes north of Ledbury train station, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. Using this experience to put our stamp on this cosy cottage, we are delighted with the outcome. We are very confident that you'll enjoy your stay and nothing is too much trouble, pop over to the pub for a chat and some food and we can tell you all about the wonderful gems that surround the area. A little personal touch goes a long way and we want you to have the best possible experience!

Our beautiful cottage has been lovingly put back to together again and no stone has been unturned! In fact every guest that comes through the front door is hugely impressed with wow entrance of the luxury living room; then even further when seeing our traditional hopped beamed kitchen with a stunning blend of creams, greens and wood. Similar reactions to our seaside themed bathroom and glorious French style bedroom.

Future plans include a rear outdoor sheltered area to include a Bar & BBQ
