Very basic but brilliantly located
This is really set up for hen/stag party type do's. It's brilliantly located near all the sights in Bath. It was a last minute booking, so glad we had somewhere, but even with the deal struck it was expensive and definitely "no frills". No lamps anywhere, just over head lighting - very cheap thin duvets and pillows, but the sheets and towels were clean. No mattress protectors at all when we stripped the beds and freezing when we got there at 4pm, (but did warm up after). Heating was timed to be off overnight and it got very very cold. No milk left for tea/coffee. With just a little more thought, care and attention, and a bit more of an eye for comfort for the price paid, and this could be brilliant. More of a hostel experience as it is now unfortunately. Also all the warning posters of no noise after 10pm all over the place is pretty off putting. Even though it wasn't an issue for us. Just didn't feel friendly, warm or cosy. As a host myself it was frustrating that it could take such little effort to improve it so much.
