If you’re in search of beauty spots, you will not be stuck for ideas in this breathtaking region; head out in search of moors, dales, rivers, springs and caverns all on the doorstep. Mam Tor, Stanage Edge, Haddon Hall, The Monsal Trail, Dovedale, The Heights of Abraham, The Pavilion Gardens, Ladybower Reservoir, Bakewell, and The Blue John Cavern are all wonderful attractions within 25 miles. Finally, you’re 100 metres from the Royal Oak Pub renowned for its huge selection of cheeses.
Step inside and leave coats and shoes in the pretty entrance hall. The light, bright kitchen/diner is set to your right – it’s the heart of the home, with all you need for easy group catering, and offers a charming country cottage feel. A farmhouse-style dining table caters for everyone and is surrounded by windows framing views of the countryside and stables. Back through the hallway, you’ll find the cosy living room, boasting a flame-effect electric fire and soft seating set around the TV, perfect for lazy evenings. This room also has a small football table/pool table near the lovely patio doors. Upstairs on the first floor, you’ll find the four bedrooms. Choose from a family bedroom with a queen-size bed and a single bed, a single bedroom, and a bunk bedroom. Finally, there’s a super-king-size bedroom which can be made into a twin room upon request and has its own en-suite shower room. A shared family bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the interior of this wonderful holiday property.
Patio doors in the lounge lead outside into the garden, home to wonderful, rural scenery all around, and offering outdoor seating and a BBQ for sharing meals alfresco.
