Clearmount Cottage is a characterful property located less than a five-minute walk to the sandy beach at Castle Cove and the Rodwell Trail, while the harbour is a 15-20 minute walk away. This beautifully decorated and spacious holiday let is the perfect retreat for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life and enjoy the beauty of Weymouth and Dorset. With three bedrooms, a large living area, fully equipped kitchen and secluded gardens, Clearmount Cottage is a hidden gem.
The Space:
Clearmount Cottage has been furnished and equipped to a high standard, offering ideal accommodation for small groups or families.
This two-story home features a spacious, bright living and dining room with direct access to several outdoor spaces, a fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The modern and spacious kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need for a self-catering stay.
The living room is a comfortable space featuring two large sofas, a bay window, and a flat screen TV with Freeview channels and streaming apps. This is the ideal space for relaxing evenings with your loved ones. Sharing the living space is a cosy dining area with a modern wooden table with grey fabric chairs and wooden bench.
Open the bi-fold doors from the living and dining space and let the fresh Dorset air flood in, whilst you enjoy home cooked meals with your guests. Step outside and you’ll discover large front and back gardens running alongside the Rodwell Trail. In this space, on the lower level, there is a brick patio with a glass dining table and chairs. Up the steps is a small breakfast terrace with a couple of chairs and a small table where you can enjoy a morning coffee. Further up the wooden steps at the top of the garden is a large sunny decked area with another glass dining table and chairs looking down towards the house along with a hammock. Bikes are available for guests to borrow.
At the side of the cottage is a large outbuilding where you can store any kayaks, paddleboards and bikes. There are also several beach umbrellas, chairs and windbreaks which can be borrowed during your stay.
The sunny, secluded cottage-style front garden is mainly lawn with mature shrubs and hedging. It features several apple trees, including one with a children’s swing, and you can approach this area via a series of stepping stones. There are two recliner chairs and a garden bench, plus an outdoor table tennis set.
Clearmount Cottage features three bedrooms - one double, one king and one super-king bed downstairs. The ground floor bedroom has direct garden access via a stable-door and features an ensuite shower room, whilst the first-floor bedrooms share a bathroom boasting a bathtub and separate walk-in shower as well as a double sink vanity unit . Both bathrooms also offer a WC and basin.

Guests have access to the full property.
The keys to Clearmount Cottage are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check-in.
There is ample on-site parking for two cars at Clearmount Cottage.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Clearmount Cottage per reservation.
Please note that the back garden slopes upwards and is tiered with steps leading to the top deck. It is recommended that children be supervised.
A high chair is available at Clearmount Cottage upon request. Further details will be provided prior to check in.
The super-king bed can be split into two singles upon request if this is more suitable for your stay.
