Just a stone's throw away from Alnwick Castle and with views of the famous setting from one of the bedrooms, it is ideally located for anyone seeking a quiet getaway with easy access to all the town has to offer. Boasting three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a separate WC, along with two living rooms, a kitchen, dining area and a private garden, it's the perfect retreat for a maximum of six guests.
The Space:
Yule House is a delightfully presented three-bedroom holiday let with a spacious layout and an unrivalled central location on the narrowest point of Narrowgate; part of the former trade route from London to Edinburgh.
It boasts plenty of natural light, thanks to a floor-to-ceiling window in the main living room and large windows in the bedrooms combined with a neutral colour scheme to create a bright and airy ambience. Beautifully designed with modern furnishings throughout, the property features carpet flooring in the bedrooms and hardwood floors in the secondary living area and kitchen. Fresh light walls are perfectly complemented by wooden and soft-coloured furniture to give a modern look.
As you walk in from the entrance, you will find the first living room and a utility area on the lower floor. Home to a sofa, white piano, and doors opening out into the garden, this space is a wonderful bonus to Yule House.
The garden comes in the form of a south-facing private garden with impressive views of Alnwick Castle and the Castle Walls which are less than 20 metres away from the property. The property also includes a private parking space located at the rear of the property which rare in Alnwick
Back up to the entrance door and up a small flight of stairs, the first door at the top opens to the main living room. This living area is equipped with a cream sofa set, matching armchair a Smart TV, and a glass coffee table so there is plenty of space for family entertainment.
If you love cooking, the kitchen next door is fully equipped with everything you need for a trip away including a hob, an oven, a kettle, a toaster, a microwave, a dishwasher, and more! The wooden dining table has two pull-out benches so everyone can share a good meal any time of the day.
Going up another couple of stairs, you will find a desk that can be utilised for work or studies.
The first door up another four stairs opens to the family bathroom. Its white interior is complemented by wooden panelling and the space is fitted with a bathtub with a separate walk-in shower, a WC, and a wash basin. You'll also find a WC on the entrance floor.
