About this property
Number19 - Semi detached house in Ripon
The entrance takes you into a modern kitchen diner, with a double oven and induction hob. A glazed sliding door takes you through to a good sized living room, with double sofas and a rocking chair to create a comfortable space.
The lower entrance landing allows for coat and shoe storage, and leads to the stairs. Upstairs off the landing is the bathroom, with a walk in shower and 2 bedrooms, the master at the front and the 2nd bedroom at the rear.
Externally there is 2 enclosed gardens, and parking for 2 vehicles outside of the property.
Number19 was renovated from the foundations up between 2022 and 2024, we rewired, replumbed, knocked walls down, replastered, painted every inch and much much more! It was my home throughout this time, and I love t very much, I did as much as I could of the work myself, so it may not be perfect, but it was done with love! It's decorated in a comfortable style, somewhere between rustic, homely and vintage - I hope you like it!
The Kitchen diner is my favourite room, it's always bright and pleasant to be in, and you are never far away if it's your turn to cook! I loved sitting out on a morning with a cuppa or on an evening in the sun with a cold bottle of beer!
The bedrooms are a good size, and we have provided a travel cot and highchair for little ones. Plenty of seating in the living room allows for space to relax.
Private parking for 2 cars is available and the main entrance is via the back patio and kitchen.
Conveniently located for the bus route to Harrogate, parkland walks, grocery stores and fuel stations it's a perfect location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales from! With a thriving market place and a magnificent cathedral, the busy little city of Ripon has something for everyone... Reaching out from the market square are small streets and snickets that are home to an eclectic mix of shops for which Ripon is so loved. Nestled amongst them are cafes and pubs, offering refreshment and home cooked food throughout the day.

About the host

I ran a glamping site from 2012 (when people hardly knew about gamping!) until 2023, so I hope that I know what it is that people expect and want from a break away!
I have travelled extensively in my career on the World Rally Championship and Formula One, and iI have always prefered self catering and cosy house to a hotel room!
I live locally to Number19, and just love the thriving town of Ripon! It's so easy to get to so many places from here!
