Family holiday
The Stables was a perfect home from home for my family. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had plenty of utensils, we cooked a full roast dinner whilst there. The garden was a real sun trap with very comfy garden furniture. Area was very peaceful and beautiful. Easy walk to the local The Red Lion.

Lovely property , unhelpful communication with the owner and could use some extra amenities!
Property was lovely , very clean . The location details sent by the owner got us lost and was difficult to find especially when they didn’t answer their phone. The location on Vrbo was correct and helpful . We had some issues with the house and the owner wasn’t responsive so that wasn’t very helpful . We called a few times on their emergency phone and they didn’t have a record? House was well equipped but lacking some very basic things . No first aid kit nor hairdryer two things we could have used , also something to make coffee would have been helpful plus dry logs. Stuff for infants if given the option to stay (High hair / travel cot) would also have saved some hassle . A little Christmas tree would have been nice but clearly asking too much ! Overall a lovely stay but felt very much thrown in there with little contact with the owner . All a bit weird.

Fernhurst House great for dog owner and walking
This is a lovely large house in a small group of similar high end properties in beautiful countryside. There is a walking trail next to the property that goes through a large enclosed field so it is excellent if taking your dog with you and there is also a large well fenced garden. Our only suggestion would be to include a welcome package with details of Wi-Fi code, use of TV and appliances etc. Oh, and to supply a hairdryer.
