This charming and newly finished two storey property sits on nine acres and lies directly opposite the magnificent Windsor Great Park, and on the approach to the Little Hideaway, there are amazing views across to Windsor Castle.
The Little Hideaway is a secluded retreat in a tranquil corner of the countryside, where you can take time to rest and relax. It has everything you should need. The hallway has a cupboard for your coats, a boot box for your wellies, and separate cupboards housing a washing machine and a tumble dryer. The shower room has a strong shower with two heads and a heated towel rail. Upstairs takes you to the living room, with Sky TV and a bedroom. A candlelit fireplace, which is decorative, sits in the middle of the room, with a small double sofa bed opposite. At the end of the room is a super kingsize bed (which separates into twin beds), a chest of drawers, a pretty window seat and a little door that leads onto a balcony which has a table and chairs, where you can sit in the morning sunshine.
The Hideaway is only 5 minutes away from the Bishops Gate entrance into the Great Park, where you can walk forever, bike ride, horse ride, or just sit by one of the enormous lakes and lap up some of the stunning views. Take a walk in the famous Valley or Savill Gardens, watch a few chukkas being played at Guards Polo ground, or take a ride on one of our own retired polo ponies instead, by prior arrangement. The pretty town of Windsor is 5 minutes away, offering English pubs, restaurants, café, and boutiques. There is a traditional English pub only 5 minutes away. The Little Hideaway is only a 2 minute walk up the driveway from the Gatehouse Cottage, a three double bedroom quitessentially English period Victorian lodge, that is also available to rent on the estate.
