Living/dining room: (No TV), Woodburner
Kitchen: Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Doors Leading To Outside
Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi (via a dongle, on request) included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. Grounds with sitting-out area and garden furniture. 1 small dog welcome. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Experience life on the water in this delightful romantic retreat. This one-bedroom house boat is perfect for a summer holiday soaking up the sun or a cosy winter retreat in front of the wood burner sipping your favourite tipple. Imagine going to sleep with the gentle sway of the boat when the tide is in. There is a footpath that leads along the coast to Point Clear.
St. Osyth is a charming and characterful village is centred around an ancient priory estate with a 383-acre deer park. Most of the village is a designated conservation area with a myriad of buildings listed individually as having special historic or architectural interest. There is an array of shops and restaurants, and a small harbour. Right opposite the boat yard is an aqua sports centre where wake board, kayak, stand up paddle boarding and tuition is available; fun can be had at the inflatable aqua park and ringo rides. St. Martins Farm is a great place for a walk to take in the wildlife. A short distance away are Clacton and Walton with their piers and amusements and an array of beach huts for hire. In the summer months there are free firework displays set to music.
The historic town of Colchester is a 20-minute drive with shops, restaurants, castle and museum. Castle Park offers something for all ages with a play park, bouncy castle, crazy golf, boating lake and bandstand. Why not watch a game of cricket at the Essex Cricket Ground adjacent to the park? Colchester United football ground also hosts concerts and shows all year round and the park has concerts in the summer. Colchester Zoo is a great day out and home to over 160 species, set in 6o acres of parkland and lakes. Visit Dedham Vale, known as Constable Country and a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with beautiful walks and activities for all ages. Beach 3 miles.
