This charming beach cottage is located on the NC Intracoastal Waterway in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. With 2 bedrooms and 1 bath it is the perfect vacation spot for one family with 3 to 4 children. The home sleeps 6 people. The private waterway porch is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee, an afternoon cocktail or a family barbeque anytime of the year. The kitchen is fully equipped and the house has WiFi television. The primary bedroom offers a king size bed and flatscreen wifi television. The other bedroom features a queen bed and there are trundle twin beds in the entrance area. Beautiful, serene cottage offering breathtaking views year round.

Amazing property

Sandra was a very pleasant and caring owner. The property was beautiful and just what we needed to escape. We also had a great time fishing with our grandson on the private dock. We would love to come back. .

A perfect location.

We loved our stay in this little house on the intercoastal. The view from the lovely back porch was beautiful. We sat there in the mornings and evenings with a wonderful breeze. One morning, we watched 12 deer come down to a thicket by the water. Another morning, we saw 3. It was a breeze going wherever we wished to go - to the beach, to Calabash, to the grocery store etc. The house was super clean with everything you might need. Thanks to our wonderful host, Sandra, for bringing us donuts for our last morning. We highly recommend this listing.

Great stay

Took boat to beach for fishing and most places we looked at staying had limits on vehicles or trailers, this was the perfect alternative and the privacy was amazing! Very relaxing stay!

Peaceful and beautiful

The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood on the intercostal waterway. Deer strolled across the yard as we relaxed on the porch. A short drive took us to Ocean Isle beach. Sandra stopped by to welcome us and chat. We had a wonderful time and will return.

Great view

This jewel of a house was perfect for the 4 of us. It had a porch that you never wanted to leave because it looked out towards the beach houses on OIB and had the best breeze ever! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a nice meal and we enjoyed the outside fire pit for s'mores. We kayaked while we were here and easy to enter the waterway with the launch. A wonderful location, quiet, restaurants and shopping near. The host was very attentive and helped us several times with what we needed to make our stay complete.

Kick back and relax

We usually stay on the beach when we go on vacation but this year my husband wanted to be able to fish so we found this place on the Inlet and let me tell you we will never want to stay anywhere BUT this place. The house is on a quiet dead end road so there is no traffic, my kids were able to ride their bikes down the road to the candy store no problem. It was so quiet and peaceful. The proximity to the beach is great too, only a short drive. We spent our mornings at the beach and evenings fishing and crabbing off the dock. Ocean Isle Beach Fish Company was so good we ate there twice during our stay. WONDERFUL vacation.

Great view!

My wife, my son, our dog and I stayed here and had a wonderful time. It has a great view and direct access to fishing from a dock in the Intercoastal waterway. The owner was wonderful to work with and we would love to stay here again in the future.

Relaxing

We loved our stay. Never have we had such a relaxing vacation. It was so hard to leave the rocking chairs on the back porch. Our dog enjoyed the freedom that the location provided. Beautiful view of the ICW. Fishing was fun. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice!

Beautiful view of the waterway, very conveniently located. Beautiful old trees and wildlife. I would visit again. I would have given a 5 if not for a couple of inconveniences with the details in booking. The Vrbo app specifically says that extra fees Cannot be asked for a true service dog. We made it clear that the dog we wanted to bring was a bonafide service dog and asked about the Vrbo policy but was still told there would be a fee. Lastly, the 9 am checkout time is too early. You either have to prepare the day before you leave or get up at the crack of dawn which can be difficult.

Perfect Stay

Clean, cozy, quiet with beautiful ICW views. I can’t be positive enough about our stay. Comfortable beds, well stocked with necessities. Just a very nice stay all the way around. Sandra, the owner, is super knowledgeable about the area she grew up in and stopped by with yummy local donuts and a nice chat about some of the history of the area. I would highly recommend this experience!!

Not what I expected

The property was nice. Owner was great. Brought donuts to us. Needs more than one bathroom. With the tide you only like a 3 hour window to fish. House was to pricey for what you got, but still enjoy the stay and even though Sandra ( the owner) was awesome. Wouldn’t stay here again .

OIB on the ICW

Great couple of days enjoying the beach from a cottage with beautiful views on the ICW just east of the OIB Causeway. We immediately felt at home in this comfortable and quiet escape. We’ll be back again

Fab cottage off-the-beaten-tourist path

Let me first say the owner is a gracious lady who is happy to accommodate and answer questions and give some background on the area and history of the property. My husband and I had business to take care of in the area and didn’t want bothered by tourists but we wanted a water view. The cottage is immaculate, great views, quiet, shady, and did I say quiet! I’m a super host and Premier host…my expectations are high and this cottage is a 5 star stay. My highest expectation is cleanliness and bed comfort…these are the most important things for me and both were on point. We will be back in fall or next spring! Take a fishing pole and some firewood and hang out on the dock and enjoy the sites. The boats and shenanigans across the water are fun to watch. :) Elissa and Jimmy Benton Bedford County, Virginia

Just what we wanted

This was better than expected. Super clean and quiet. Loved watching the boats from inside and outside on the porch. Comfy bed with nice linens and lots of fluffy white towels. It had everything we could need during our stay. Very nice.

REMARKABLE

This cottage was absolutely PERFECT!!! If you want peaceful and private then this is the right place for you!!! The views are amazing and beautiful. Mrs. Ward was such an awesome host as well. Everything about the cottage was so clean and wonderful. We used the fire pit every night and fished every day and enjoyed the dock as well. The back porch was so relaxing as we enjoyed our breakfast and dinner there daily and watched the boats pass by. Thank you for allowing us to reconnect at your cottage and for your hospitality. PERFECTION and a true BLESSING!!!

Cozy Beach Cottage

Loved the property and spent most of the time on the porch overlooking the intracoastal waterway. Peaceful retreat and located near everything you need in just a few minutes. Will definitely return to this property. Owner was extremely sweet and very attentive to any questions that we had. Highly recommend for a great get away!
