Great cabin!
We really enjoyed everything about this cabin! The kitchen was the best equipped we've had with staying in this area for years. Everything was comfortable and easy to access. Thomas was very responsive, even on Thanksgiving Day, when I locked us out of the cabin! Note: don't lock the knob when you leave because you won't be able to get back in without Thomas' help! It is a very peaceful property and we felt very welcome. Bonus is that Blood Mtn is just a few miles away for those wanting a fun hike nearby!

The Perfect Place
What a great little getaway cabin! We tried many months ago to rent in Vogel State Park where our friends were camping. When that didn’t work out I went on VRBO and I am so glad I did! The Blood Mountain Cove cabin was about 2.5 miles from them. It made it so easy to “run up the road” as often as we needed! The minute we walked inside it felt just like home! The fall decor was such a great touch! Little pumpkins were placed in just the right places to add the feeling of fall. The place is cozy, but has plenty of room to spread out in lots of areas. The back porch is perfect for drinking coffee or reading a book. The couches in the living room are very comfortable! The kitchen is awesome! I cooked way more than I thought I would and I had everything I needed! Very well stocked! The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms spacious. The days we were there it was chilly for these Florida folks, but the heater worked very well and the fireplace was a bonus! Our host was so kind and always got back to us quickly if we had a question. He even let us know the power had gone out ( mountain rain storm) while we were away one day and let us know when it came back on. When we did return the cabin was warm and welcoming! The driveway was a little scary at first, but we got used to it and had no problems going up or down. I really can’t say enough about how comfortable and clean this cabin is! You can’t ask for a better host either! It is a great little find ! We will definitely want to come back again!

Quaint home in rustic setting. The sound of the waterfall is relaxing but mid day the motor cycles can get very loud also. We used the cabin mainly mornings and evenings so not much of a problem. In miles it is close to several wineries. The drive is winding so time to wineries takes longer. It is a fun drive. More towel, wash clothes and dishcloths are needed. 4 adults were on this trip. This was good because until it is completely renovated there are some areas outside that may present some concerns. Owner is really nice. Timely reply’s to any text matter.

Beautiful, Clean, and Comfortable
There is very little I would change about the time I had at this gorgeous cabin and property! The locks on the bathroom upstairs are a little confusing, but as long as you are knocking before entering you have nothing to worry about. 😉 The shower water wasn’t quite as warm as we would have liked at times, but warm enough for a comfortable shower. The deck had some soft spots you should avoid, but it is an amazing place to sit, relax and enjoy the beauty that surrounds the cabin! Bring extra towels, paper products, and trash bags if you are staying for an extended time. No washer and dryer in the cabin, but Vogel State Park has a wonderful laundromat. You can enjoy the park whilst waiting on your laundry. 🧺 The creek was absolutely GORGEOUS! It was by far my favorite part of the property. You can hear it well from inside with the windows open, and on the deck. It isn’t easy to access the creek, but if you take a little hike to see it, it’s definitely worth it! We enjoyed several nights around the fire pit roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. The host quickly answered any questions and was extremely accommodating. ❤️ I highly recommend staying here, it’s a wonderful experience!

Great location. In the mountains with a stream running behind it. Plenty of hiking just minutes away. Back porch is a great place to relax. The house was clean and quiet. Kitchen was well-equipped. Cell service was non-existent, but the internet worked well. Communication with Thomas was always quick.

The cabin was beautiful. Enjoyed it! We did not have hot water in bathroom upstairs. The owner said you have to turn the faucet to get cold water! Found this out the last day of our stay. The owner was so generous in helping us with promptness. I would stay there again.

Beautiful Cozy Relaxed
Pictures dont do it justice. Super clean and nice. Had window open so could sleep to the sounds of the private creek and waterfall😊😊😊 The Driveway could be marked a little better off the highway so recommend getting there in the daylight. Was a little bummed that it didnt have the down comforter like the pic but that's just minor and personal preference. We will def be back asap.

Loved our stay but...
We enjoyed our stay but there were pros and cons. Thomas was quick to respond to our questions, we loved the location and the cabin. Things you should know ahead: The cabin is not senor friendly. Both bedrooms are upstairs and one is actually a loft with no privacy. The stair landing blends in with the floor on the first level. The owner only supplies one towel per guest, so if you need more than one towel for your stay bring them with you. The kitchen is well equipped, the TV only allowed for streaming, it was nice to have a grill and the scenery was beautiful. I would definitely recommend renting and would again!

Amazing Stay!
Pictures don't do this cabin justice. It looks even better in person. The stream and sound of rushing water is right off of the back porch, and the kitchen was fully equipped for 3 days and nights of cooking. All we had to provide was the food. Owner was super welcoming, and made checking in and out easy. If you're looking for a mountain cabin away from the crowds at the best price point around, then this is your place!

Peaceful getaway
This was exactly what we needed! A clean, comfortable, peaceful cabin in the mountains for a getaway. Sitting in the rockers on the back porch listening to the water was so relaxing. This is the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in! It was well stocked with things like toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, hand and dish soap. There was tin foil, ziplocs, seasonings, coffee etc - all left behind by other guests I am sure, but so appreciated. The owner answered every question I had (and it was a lot!) very quickly. There was so much to see and do in the local area. We went and checked out Brasstown Bald and could see Blood Mountain from there...amazing perspective of the size! So many waterfalls to explore, different historical museums in the small towns, vineyards everywhere-literally something for everyone. The bed in the master bedroom was too soft for our liking so we switched to the one in the loft. That one was perfect! I loved the fact there weren’t curtains on the windows in there. Waking up to the views was just what I needed. We plan to visit again and have already been recommending it to our family and friends.

The cabin was a pretty as the photos
My sister and I were looking for a get away to do some hiking. There were many trails that were close by and the cabin was as pretty as the advertised photos. The waterfall right outside the door created a wonderful atmosphere. We were looking to disconnect from the world and we got exactly what we needed. Would definitely go back.

What makes this property unique

Situated between Cleveland and Blairsville at Neels Gap, the hiking is more than anyone can do in a month, just within a 10 min drive of the cabin. Cyclists frequent Hwy 129 that crosses over the pass between the 2 towns as an ideal place for a challenge and training, not to mention the beautiful vistas. Waterfalls are not in short supply on either side of the Blood Mountain Wilderness but empty into different watersheds. If you are looking for a bit more relaxing activities and culinary exploration, then try one of dozens of wineries in the burgeoning central N. Georgia wine region. All vineyards are within 20 minutes of the home. It is well situated and has permanently positioned itself to close the grape gap between it and the wine country of northern Virginia. Just over the range and a half hour highway drive away is the always busy, touristy alpine town of Helen, home of one of the best Octoberfest gatherings in the SE. A haven for hikers, bikers and outdoor enthusiasts, there is something for everyone, especially families. Unicoi State Park is just outside of town. Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa is a favorite in the area and offers spa treatments, great golf with fantastic views throughout the course and the best Sunday brunch and libations. HOLIDAY rates vary. Discounts available for rentals of 7 nights or more.
Other things to note:

Gas kitchen, gas heat, central air, internet access, Apple TV w Chromecast, Wink enabled, gas grilling station on deck and local well water.
