About this property

Trinity Barn | Winterton Cottages

Trinity Barn is a modern barn conversion, with a traditional feel in the pretty Broadland village of Fleggburgh. Downstairs you'll find a well equipped kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The back door from the kitchen leads to an enclosed garden with an outdoor dining table & chairs.

The barn is centrally heated throughout, but there's also an electric fire in the open plan dining area and a TV there too. From there you walk through into the living room, with two comfortable sofas and a smart TV. At the back of the barn you'll find a ground floor bedroom with kingsize bed and a bathroom with a walk in shower, washbasin and WC.

The stairs lead off the dining area straight into the second bedroom which has two 3' single beds, and it's own ensuite bathroom with a bath with a shower attachment, washbasin and WC. Please note there is a low ceiling in the upstairs bedroom.

Outside there's an enclosed garden to the rear/side of the barn, and off road parking at the front for two cars. Two dogs are welcome at Trinity Barn free of charge.
The award winning Kings Arms pub is just 2 minutes walk from the barn, and there are beautiful countryside walks and public footpaths nearby. It's a 10-15 minute drive to the nearest beaches at Hemsby, Scratby and Winterton.

2 night stay
Great place to stay with excellent facilities. Very comfortable and clean. Good quiet location, allows dogs which is a big plus. 11am checkout would be better. We will be back. Thanks

10/10 Excellent

A very comfortable and spacious cottage with easy access to the Broads and the coast
We very much enjoyed our short stay at Trinity Barn. We found it very clean, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. It is located in a quiet spot. There was no traffic noise or any other distracting sound. Because we visited in April, we did not use the garden much. It is on the small side and for people visiting with dogs, I am not sure how secure the garden is. Certainly our two dogs would not find it difficult to jump over the gates, should they happen to see a cat or other wildlife on the other side. Supervision was essential. Trinity Barn is well located with a 15 minutes' drive of the coast and not far from the Broads either. We particularly enjoyed Winterton-on-sea and the walk around the Horsey Estate & Windpump. The local pub, The King's Arms is 2 minutes' walk away and well worth a visit! We would not hesitate to recommend Trinity Barn and come and stay there again.

8/10 Good

A lovely modern barn close to a wonderful pub.
The barn is lovely although we were expecting it to be a bit more rural than it was. We found some walks close by but discovered that a lot of the broads are not dog friendly because they are nature reserves. Acle Bridge walk, a few miles away from the barn was the best river walk we had. The garden is not fully secure if you have an inquisitive dog and was a bit bare. A small welcome pack of tea/coffee and milk is provided. We would have explored more and farther afield but were only there two nights. It’s a shame you can’t walk through the fields by the house but the path by the church and across the road is a nice walk.
