One of the top nearby attractions is Criccieth, just a short 10-minute drive from Chwilog. Criccieth is famous for its medieval Castle, perched on a rocky hill with sweeping views over the coastline. Families can explore the castle ruins, enjoy the lovely beach, and stroll through the charming town. Kids will love sampling the renowned Cadwaladers ice cream after a fun day at the beach. A 20-minute drive from Chwilog brings you to Portmeirion, an enchanting Italianate village set along the Dwyryd Estuary.
