Could use some work
The good:I booked this place to stay close to a relative. The location is nice because it is close to bus lines, it was also a cheap uber ride to Wimbledon. The Bad: The place does not look like the pictures advertised. There was standing water in the freezer, dirty dishes in the sink, the bed was not made on arrival, and the place needed a serious deep cleaning. I’m also not sure if it has working heat, as there was a small floor heater in the living room and the other rooms were pretty cold. We decided not to stay at all. We spent our first night with a relative as we worked on booking alternative housing. Vrbo was very supportive of our choice and immediately took action. The host also gave us a refund for our stay. I think with a good cleaning, new paint, and more furniture this listing could become acceptable. For now I think it would be helpful to not list this place so no other travelers have to be surprised by the conditions. I booked a really nice hotel in Wimbledon for less than what this place was listed for.
