Wonderful villa surrounded by a delightful orange garden. very close to the beautiful beach of salinelle known all over the world for its wild beauty, it is still virgin and preserves the native vegetation intact. It is not unusual in fact, during the summer months, to see the white lilies of the sea bloom among the numerous sand dunes covered with large 'zabare', a species of spontaneous protected flora, typical of the area.

Review

A very well designed and located property which was well equipped. We appreciated being close to a train station and the beach. The nearby restaurants were very good. It was a great base for hiking in the Madonie mountains. The property information online seemed to suggest we were renting the whole house rather than just the ground floor. We recommend this being clearer for future clients.

Schöner Familienurlaub

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Küche war bestens mit Kochutensilien ausgestattet. Nur an Salz, Pfeffer etc. mangelte es. Das müsste man sich mitbringen oder die Gewürze vor Ort neu kaufen. Das Haus befindet sich in schöner Lage fußläufig zum Meer.

Tolle Wohnung, sehr familienfreundlich

Wir haben mit unseren 4 Kindern zwei Wochen in dieser schönen Wohnung verbracht. Der Garten ist wunderbar gepflegt mit diversen Orangenbäumen. Das Grundstück ist zusammen mit einem Nachbarhaus rundum umzäunt, was mit Kindern äusserst praktisch ist und auch Sicherheit vermittelt. Beim Check-In ist der Betrag für Bettwäsche/Tücher in Bar zu entrichten. Das Haus ist minimalistisch ausgestattet, dafür sehr sauber. Geschirrtücher, Putzlappen, Schwämme, Geschirrspülmittel, Handseide, Gewürze etc. sind nicht vorhanden. Auch eine Flasche Wasser ist nicht im Haus anzutreffen bei Ankunft. Sollte man also zu Randzeiten eintreffen, tut man gut daran, genügend Wasser für die ersten 24h dabei zu haben. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter erfolgte per SMS relativ zuverlässig. Fussläufig sind zwei Restaurants und ein Supermarkt zu erreichen. Der Strand ist ca. 400m entfernt und besteht aus feinen Kieselsteinen. Das wunderschöne Städtchen Cefalù erreicht man mit dem Auto in gut 10min. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Tolles Haus, absolut zu empfehlen!

Absolut schöne Villa mit drei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern. Abgeschlossenes Grundstück (Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück, Tor mit Fernbedienung) wunderschöner gepflegter Garten ( Zitrusbäume, Sträucher, grüner gepflegter Rasen ). Direkt neben dem Grundstück verläuft der Weg zum Strand, der in der ganzen Zeit nahezu menchenleer war. Kieselstrand. Zwei Restaurants fussläufig erreichbar, eines gehört dem Vermieter und man kann sehr schön und gut dort essen. Supermarkt auch fussläufig erreichbar, ebnso der Bahnhof für Ausflüge nach Palermo ( Fahrzeit 35 Min.) Es kann sein, dass die im Obergeschoss befindliche Wohnung ebenfalls vermietet ist, dann sind die üblichen Geräusche ( wie Stühlerücken manchmal etwas störend, weil recht laut). Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und auch der Kontakt zur Agentur war super. Wir können das Haus absolut empfehlen.

Casa meravigliosa!

La villetta è bellissima, molto curata soprattutto per ciò che concerne lo spazio esterno: giardino e patio meravigliosi, spaziosi e molto curati, con alberi di fiori e frutta molto molto belli, sdraio, un grande tavolo comodo e barbecue. Uniche pecche: una quantità quasi insopportabile di formiche sia sul patio esterno che nel bagno con finestra; scarso pentolame a disposizione e di materiali di primissima necessità che potrebbero risultare utili al cliente che arrivando non ha la possibilità immediata di recarsi a fare la spesa; “idromassaggio” esterno non utilizzabile a causa dell’acqua rimasta all’interno di cattivo odore, probabilmente non cambiata. Al di là di queste piccole cose, consigliamo veramente il soggiorno in questa casa bellissima con un giardino raro da trovare!

Fantastica villa bifamigliare

Abbiamo trovato il personale serio, disponibile, chiaro nella presentazione della villetta e dei servizi offerti, tutto pulito, ben curato di nuova costruzione, come descritto, un'ampio terrazzo coperto con tende mobili per riparare dal sole mattutino per godersi la colazione al sorgere del sole e godersi la visuale dell'ampio giardino con aranci a pranzo a cena. Tutti i servizi disponibili, luogo molto tranquillo, vicino a delle belle spiagge libere e servite che si possono raggiungere tranquillamente a piedi. Si consiglia la possibilità dell'auto propria o a noleggio per raggiungere i fantastici luoghi siciliani vicini e lontani, nel complesso Cafalù è risultato la città più quotata, valutando nel complesso, spiaggia, mare, divertimenti, servizi e bellezza del paese. Spero di potere ritornare il prima possibile per vivere e visitare un'altro angolo della bellissima Sicilia.

Very nice owners, great location with a walking distance to the beach

House is very comfortable with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, small kitchen and an air condition. It has a great location for people looking for a quiet with a local atmosphere vacation. It is close to the beach - 5 minutes walk, where are not a lot of people which is rare in Italy:) Close to shops, walking distance to the restaurants and the train station going to Palermo. Perfect solution! The owners are very sweet and helpful, they can give very good advise what to visit around and where to eat. It was a perfect vacation!

Maison moderne et fonctionnelle... qui manque un peu de charme.

Maison moderne et fonctionnelle. Jardin très bien entretenu agrémenté d'un jacuzzi agréable en fin de journée après ma plage. Avec sueurs froides à l'arrivée : personne pour nous accueillir. On a du sonner chez la voisine qui nous a accompagné chez les propriétaires. Un peu curieux !!!

Bellissima struttura!!!

Proprietari disponibili e attenti alle esigenze di chi soggiorna in questa villetta dotata di tutti i comfort. Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia qualche settimana fa. Struttura ben arredata e curata negli interni, così come negli spazi esterni. Ampio spazio esterno con prato curato e piscina idromassaggio ad uso esclusivo di chi soggiorna. A pochi minuti a piedi da un accesso privato a mare e a qualche minuto di macchina da Lascari, piccolo centro abitato. Ottima pizza nel ristorante - pizzeria " La voce del mare" a 1 km circa dalla struttura.

Lovely villa in Sicily

Three of us stayed in this villa for 2 weeks and very much enjoyed our stay. The few questions or problems we encountered were minor (non-functioning toaster) and dealt with immediately. It is located outside a small town, but we had a car rented and drove to various places during our stay and took the train one day to Palermo (about 1 hour) to avoid city driving. The train station is a short walk from the villa. We ate in quite a bit as there was a supermarket handy, but there are two good restaurants a short walk away. Well-managed property with friendly, helpful hosts.

Toller Urlaub auf Sizilien

Das Haus und der Garten ist wirklich schön und gepflegt. Die Duschen haben nicht ganz überzeugt, aber waren in Ordnung. Ein paar mehr Tassen wären unbedingt notwendig! Der Strand ist zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Der Supermarkt in der Nähe war nicht so toll, aber in Cefalu konnte man gut einkaufen. Der Kontakt zur Agentur bzw. Rosario war unkompliziert und freundlich. Fazit: Wir würden wieder hinfahren.

Sehr schönes Haus, ideal um Cefalú, Palermo und liparische Inseln zu besuchen

Sehr schönes Haus, Strandnähe, sehr sauber, sehr freundlich, tolle Terrasse und tolle Betten. Bettwäsche muß extra gebucht werden. Kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Awesome place

The property was excellent. The property manager did a great job accommodating all our requests. We were three adults, three kids, (though with visitors we got up to 5 adults and 4 kids). It was great for 2 weeks. Short walk to the beach. Nice restaurant down the street. 5 min drive to supermarket. 10 min drive to Cefalu. Great garden for kids. The kitchen had everything. Yes, there are no supplies provided, but it's easy to get to the supermarket to collect things. There's also an apartment upstairs, but everything is pretty separate. Highly recommend.

Casa e giardino fantastici

La casa è perfetta per famiglie con bambini, l'ampio spazio esterno e la veranda compensano sicuramente gli spazi interni, comunque sufficienti per almeno 6 persone. Comodissimo il barbecue anche se mancavano gli attrezzi per pulizia e cottura (abbiamo faticato un po' per pulire la griglia), ma è sicuramente un punto a favore della struttura. è bellissimo poter fare colazione all'aperto la mattina, sarebbe l'ideale avere delle tende che coprano la veranda, visto che è in pieno sole almeno fino all'ora di pranzo. Estremamente comoda la doccia esterna, permette di accedere all'interno della casa senza portarsi dietro la sabbia.

Our stay in Sicily

The property is beautiful and clean. We love the yard where we soaked up all the sun of Sicily. The property is comfortable for 4 of us, but it would be tight with 6, and it probably wouldn't be comfortable for 8 with such a small living area. Only disappointment is that the property provided nothing or not enough for basic living needs. We had to beg for toilet paper (they left 2 rolls for 4 people for 7 days - they provided us 2 extra rolls and after that, they wouldn't provide anymore). They provided no soap at all, even for washing hands and charged for linen (15 Euro per person, which is steep). I don't know any Homeaway property that charges for linen or any renters would need to bring their own linen. Renting a home is no difference than renting a hotel room, but lack of basic living needs supplies definitely is an inconvenience and put a negative light on this property. If we come back to Sicily, not sure if we would like to rent that same property again.

Sehr schönes Haus

Das Haus liegt an einer eher ruhigen Straße zum langen Sandstrand ca. 500 m entfernt in Piane Veccie. Wir ( 2 Erw. + 2 Kinder) hatten für eine Woche die Erdgeschosswohnung mit großer überdachter Terrasse gebucht. Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet und die Ausstattung ist gehoben und keineswegs abgewohnt. Es ist alles notwendige vorhanden. Neben dem größeren Wohnraum mit Küche sind ein Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, eines mit 2 Einzelbetten und ein kleines Zimmer mit einem sehr schmalen Doppelbett vorhanden. Dazu zweimal Dusche+WC - beide tiptop eingerichtet und sauber. Zusätzlich die große komplett überdachte Südterrasse mit Blick auf den wirklich schönen Garten mit Grill und Aussendusche. Alles war in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Romario, der Besitzer hat uns stets unkompliziert und freundlich beraten, auch wenn es um Ausflüge usw. ging. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Schöne Unterkunft

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Schöner ruhiger Garten, saubere Zimmer und die Lage ist auch prima. Mit dem Zug nach Palermo unproblematisch und günstig, zu Fuß zum Strand, Restaurants in der Nähe, wir waren positiv überrascht. Auch mit dem Vermieter hat alles bestens geklappt. Wir kamen erst nachts an und er hat uns persönlich empfangen. Einzige kleine Kritik... das 2. Doppelbett ist etwas schmal... ansonsten kommen wir bestimmt nochmal wieder!

Super Haus

Das Haus war super und die Betreuung bei Fragen hat geklappt. Kommunikation nur auf englisch oder italienisch. Tassen und kleine Löffel sollten noch ein paar in die Küche. Wir waren nur 2 Kaffeetrinker, da ging es. Alles andere wäre Meckern auf sehr hohem Niveau. Wir kommen gern wieder.

A great base for the north of the island

The villa was as described - roomy, modern, well-equipped and convenient for Cefalù and the local beaches. The owners were very accommodating when we were delayed arriving and came to let us in at midnight! The instructions for checking in weren’t very clear, and with all the confusion we had with delayed flights and driving in unknown places in the dark on the wrong side of the road, it didn’t help. But once we got in touch they did everything they could to help us. We visited early in the season (early April) and so there weren’t any basics like washing up liquid, salt/pepper, oil in the place which was a shame, but with several decent shops nearby it wasn’t a problem. Parking for 2 cars in a private drive along with an outdoor BBQ and covered veranda (perfect for breakfast) means it has everything you need. The place is nice and quiet and has the best black-out shutters you can imagine! We used it as a base to explore Cefalù, Palermo and Agrigento, but going to Mt Etna was deemed a little too far, so we booked into a B&B for a night over that side of the island. We’d definitely visit again, and with another flat above the ground floor we could go with friends and all stay together.
