Incredible property!!

The location of this property was amazing! The views were unmatched. Howler monkeys could be heard in the distance at dusk!! It may seem cliche, but my only regret was not staying longer.

Stunning Views, But Needs Attention to Detail

This property has so much potential but underdelivered in several key ways. We received no check-in info and had to contact the host the morning of our arrival. The view—our primary reason for booking—was absolutely stunning. The lake and volcano scenery was incredible, and the location struck a great balance between peaceful seclusion and proximity to restaurants and markets. Unfortunately, the outdoor experience was lacking. The main deck, shown in photos with furniture, was completely empty. Only three chairs were available on the upper deck—not enough for our group of five. The home has no A/C but is designed to catch breezes. However, several windows had damaged or missing screens, making them unusable unless you wanted bugs inside. The kitchen was poorly stocked, and there was no broom or vacuum—an issue given the house sits on a dirt road, which meant dusty feet and floors. One bedroom’s fan didn’t work, another had no light, and the main bathroom had inadequate curtains, which made it unusable during the day while workers were present. This house could be a great rental with some basic repairs, more attention to detail, and a little TLC.

Dissappointed

The views of this home are absolutely beautiful which is why we rented it. Unfortunately, the home was not clean. There were huge cobwebs with large spiders. Insects in the kitchen drawers and the comfortabler in one room was very dusty on top. You must have a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get to the home once you're close. It's an incredibly steep dirt road to get to the drive way. None of that was mentioned. I've never written a bad review, but we were supposed to be there 3 days and left after the first night.
