About this property
Orchard Farm Retreat
This spacious, one-bedroom property lies within the Evesham Vale on the edge of the charming Worcestershire village of Ashton under Hill. Surrounded by countryside and set on the fringes of the Cotswolds National Landscape, this is a delightful spot for outdoor-loving couples to embark on scenic rambles. For a taste of rural life, head to the popular Bredon Hill Country Store which sits just 100 metres away and offers a wealth of country-style clothing as well as a vibrant cafe. The more energetic can climb to the summit of Bredon Hill and soak up the sweeping views. For a fun day out, head 12 miles to Cheltenham and watch the races or journey to the pretty market towns of Broadway (7 miles) and Tewkesbury (11 miles). Also worth a visit are the beautiful National Trust gardens at Snowshill (9 miles) and Hidcote (13 miles).
Leave boots and coats in the porch and step into the open-plan living area with its impressive, beamed ceiling. A lot of thought and care has gone into making this a beautiful and welcoming retreat. Designed with space in mind, the lounge area is a delightful spot with mood lighting, scorched hand-clad wood, and attractive furnishings creating a sense of style and comfort. Relax on the sofa and gaze at the views, or unwind with a film on the TV. Overlooking the lounge, a sleek kitchen is drenched in natural light and features a breakfast bar with seating for two people. If the weather is good, you’ll want to dine outside at the patio table with the fantastic, uninterrupted countryside views as a backdrop. The bedroom is situated off from the living area and features a double bed. Furnished in earthy tones, it’s a serene space where you can gaze across the garden from the comfort of your bed. It also boasts a fabulous en-suite shower room with a double walk-in shower.
Outside, the patio is the perfect place for morning coffee. Relax at the patio table and feel the sun on your face, or sit quietly and absorb your surroundings. There’s also private parking for two cars.
