Sis's Cottage has it all!!! We are Downtown! Approx 500 feet to Franklin Square Park and Dry Street Pizza. Quiet Middle Street, Light traffic.

Sis's cottage is a charming, newly remodeled 3 bedroom 2 full baths in the historical district of beautiful Southport NC. The house has an open floor plan with living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities needed to dine in if you choose. The cottage is located one block from the main downtown area within walking distance of restaurants, shops and inter coastal waterways. Lots of parking. Can accommodate up to 6 cars or 4 cars and fishing boat and trailer. You can sit on the front porch and listen to bands on Thursday night when playing in Franklin Square Park. The cottage will accommodate 5 people. Master queen bedroom downstairs with full bath. Upstairs
has queen bed and also a twin bed with trundle with full bath. Includes a fully equipped kitchen with double
door refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, disposal and washer and dryer and Keurig coffee maker. House is beautifully decorated.
Utilities, cable and wifi included. Linens provided.
If this is your first trip to Historic Southport, you are in for such a treat. If you are returning, we all know why. This is the place to take you back in time in so many ways, small hometown feel, residents here are unbelievable friendly, the scenery is gorgeous, beautiful oak trees, many quaint shops, lots of good food and so many historic sites to see. You are couple blocks away from the Cape Fear River, Provisions and Fishy Fishy Restaurants and more. Southport Marina is just a few blocks away if it is boating you like. And then there are the Ferrys that will take you to Bald Head Island, Carolina Beach and Fort Fisher. If it is the beach you are looking for, we have that too, Oak Island is just 10 minutes away. This is the place you want to be and the place you will want to come back to.
Pets allowed upon approval. Pet Fee is $150.00 Maximum 2 pets under 50 lbs allowed. Fenced in backyard. No Smoking allowed.

Great house and host

Overall fantastic stay! Me, my husband and mother loved the location and house, close to son’s home. Only 2 issues: some pans in cabinet had to be washed ( prob fault of previous renter); construction next door on both sides days after Christmas, not much of problem- workers not too loud and house well insulated— only effect was when dog went out he barked— but not much! Deacon was a good dog and had a great time too! Host was delightful and helpful with small booking issue!

Love this house

This is our second time staying here and we love Sis's Cottage. It's close to town, on a quiet street, and so clean! The weekend we stayed had a lot of Christmas festivities so the proximity to town made it easy to see some fun stuff! With it being pet friendly meant we could take our dog with us and she loved walking up and down the street! We will be back!

Super location with a relaxing environment

Southport is such a lovely town and Sis's Cottage is a wonderful place to stay while visiting. Cozy and charming are the two words that come to mind. Everything one needs is provided.

Perfect cottage!

I've stayed at many vrbo's and this one was the best one! It was clean, the kitchen was well stocked (which is rare), cute as a button, and comfortable. Perfectly placed within Southport to walk everywhere. We enjoyed staying here!!!

We enjoy a yearly visit to Southport and this location was great! Within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do and eat and eat and eat! Wonderful house!

The house was perfect! The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs!! Everything that you might need was in the house! The owners are very friendly and quick to assist you! We had a problem with the tv and it was resolved very quickly despite us being there during hurricane Debby! Can’t wait to stay again!

The stay was beautiful! The house was beautiful, and everything was perfect. We brought our dog, and he enjoyed the outside fenced in area. We were within walking distance of everything Southport. We cannot wait to return!

Perfect location and property!

Could not have picked a better place. You only need to bring clothes and food. Everything (and I mean everything) is there. Have never stayed in a more equipped home...kitchen utensils and tools, towels hair dryer, iron and board, rocking chairs...The only thing we couldn't find was a meat tenderizer tool lol. Super clean, easy to find wonderfully priced and Gail is wonderful in communicating! We will definitely be back hopefully before end of year!

Why they chose this property

i chose this property because it was the perfect spot. One block away from most everything. I can sit on the front porch and listen to entertainment happening in Franklin Square Park. I am in walking distance to about anywhere i want to go. It is off the main street so it has the privacy I want if i chose. It is just a perfect location.

What makes this property unique

i bought the house completely remodeled so all I had to do was add all the fun stuff to the house. I liked the fact the master bedroom was downstairs and 2 other bedrooms were upstairs. I loved the location, the size of the house was perfect and the circular drive with the beautiful oak tree in the center just capped it all off.
