About this property
Antler Lodge - Meadows Retreat Lodge Park
Meadows Retreat Lodge Park is a newly established park that offers a tranquil location for a family holiday. It is near the beaches along the west coast of Cumbria, and Cockermouth, a vibrant town with a great choice of attractions, shops, and places to eat.
Antler Lodge is one of 51 privately owned lodges in the friendly park. It comprises three lovely bedrooms—a king, a twin, and a single—and two bathrooms, and it is perfectly suited for families and friends.
The well-equipped kitchen, comprising an electric oven and hob fitted into the kitchen island, is perfect for cooking a family meal at the dining table. Since you're on holiday, nobody wants to do the dishes- right? Worry not; the dishwasher is at hand! The living area is fantastically comfy with armchairs and a sofa nestled in front of the electric fire and the Freeview TV, which is internet enabled so you can stream your favourite programs, but you will need your own account to access these services.
The outside space includes the decking area with furniture enclosed with glass balustrades, and the surrounding grass area has additional outdoor seating. Unfortunately, barbecues are not permitted. Antler Lodge sits up against the wooded area, with tall trees attracting wildlife and birds.
Beach lovers will love Allonby Beach - miles of sandy beaches to explore, and the sunsets are magnificent, too. It's a great day out for the family for a picnic or, better yet, an ice cream from Twentyman Ice Cream Parlour!
Although the western reaches of Cumbria are quieter, you'll love the stunning scenery and relaxed way of life. We're sure you will love your stay at Antler Lodge.
