About this property

Light and spacious cottage, with exposed oak beams and floor to ceiling windows

Beautiful 1 bedroom self-catering cottage. Situated within a stunning barn conversion, complete with gallery and cafe. The cottage includes a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine & dishwasher, the en-suite has a bath & shower.
The cafe is open 7 days a week and offers cooked breakfasts Monday to Saturday that you can takeaway back to the cottage. In addition to breakfasts they bake fresh cakes, pasties, quiches and sausage rolls everyday and fabulous lunches using local produce.
We also offer various courses including; painting, felting and stained glass held on site but must be pre-booked.

We are happy for you to bring your lovely pets, the outdoor private area for the cottage is not fully enclosed sadly but we do have a paddock you can use and there are plenty of fab dog walking/swimming spots locally. Guests are free to adventure around the outdoor space surrounding the barn and orchard.

The beautiful town of Usk nestles in the gentle Monmouthshire hills along the lovely banks of the River Usk. The town is steeped in history, from the ruins of a Norman castle to the seventeenth century buildings that adorn the cobbled streets. It's like stepping back in time with wonderful antique shops and cosy, friendly tea rooms and yet the more up to date boutiques fit nicely into the leisurely pace of life in this sleepy market town. The beautiful Usk and Wye Valleys offer wonderful scenic walks or cycle rides and the array of renowned restaurants offer fine dining at the highest level. A wonderful part of Wales for all the family all year round.
