Cold showers, noisy, WiFi password illegible
This odd flat is poorly laid out, run down, and highly uncomfortable. The on-demand water heater in the tiny, door-handle-less shower did not keep an even temperature for any shower my family of four took over three nights. The toilet ran constantly. Every clock in the place was stopped, there was no way to dry clothes other than hanging them up in the closet, and the pillows were flat and hard. It's just creepy in there. The WiFi password displayed inside the flat was illegible, and it took two days for the host to reply with the correct Wi-Fi password by direct email. Communication with this host is not possible using the VRBO app, and the phone number listed in their email communication does not work. There was a bright light shining through the window of one bedroom all night long, making sleep a challenge. The walls are thin, and the neighborhood is NOISY. In our family of four, not one of us slept well here for 3 nights. We enjoyed eating and the various Lebanese restaurants nearby, but the Bakerloo line (which is 1m from the flat) was not convenient for sightseeing — to get to the Circle or Hammersmith lines, you need to cross under the highway and walk about 10 minutes.Affordable digs for London? I guess. Worst rental we’ve ever had? 1000%
