The Penthouse Goodrington Lodge, Luxury Apartment with its own private hot tub and its shared *heated swimming pool and gardens, fills with sunlight through floor to ceiling glass doors and offers stunning park and sea views across to Brixham. Cosy in winter and cool in summer, the possibilities for fun and relaxation are endless. Just 2 minutes from Goodrington Sands beach, Costa coffee, Cantina, the boating lake and waterpark, it's the ideal escape to seaside luxury. *Heated 27 May- 7 Sept.
The space
Free high speed wifi. Modern kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, double oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, drinks fridge, tv and all the utensils and equipment you could possibly wish for. Kitchen and living area have panoramic sea views. The apartment has 3 large bedrooms with TVs and comfy beds. The spacious master bedroom has a Super King Size bed. Bedroom 2 has twin beds (beds can also be made up to a Super King size double if you choose when booking). Bedroom 3 has a King size bed, is accessed down two steps and has an ensuite bathroom with shower and heated towel rail. There is also a master bathroom with bath and shower. The lounge opens directly on to the large balcony with hot tub.

Balcony furnished with table and six chairs, 4 sun loungers and the hot tub. Views over the pool to Young's Park and Goodrington Beach.
Access to the communal gardens and swimming pool (pool open all year and heated 27 May - 7 September)
Communal BBQ in garden area.
Allocated FREE parking for one car in the car park and free on-street parking.
Guest access
Guests have access to the whole apartment. There is also use of a shared outdoor swimming pool (Heated 27 May-7 Sept).
Other things to note
PLEASE NOTE: Our changeover day is Saturday so the best value holidays are 7 nights from Saturday to Saturday. There's a minimum of 6 nights during peak season between Saturdays, but we do try to accommodate short breaks of 4 nights minimum off peak with any start day. Please message us for any dates you would like.
Guests should be aware that the Penthouse is on the second floor and unfortunately there is no lift. This means It may not be suitable for some less able or elderly visitors.
Guests will need to follow the hot tub rules which are to be found in the guest information book on arrival.

I stayed at the Penthouse as a paying guest many times before I took the plunge and purchased it. I have ran the Penthouse as a holiday let since 2015 and have welcomed many lovely guests who have shared in my joy for the penthouse and it's amazing location.
Why they chose this property
Step outside the Penthouse Apartment and you are in Youngs Park with its boating lake, bandstand, childrens play area and the very dog-friendly Cantina cafe and bar. A delightful walk through the park brings you to Goodrington Sands beach offering a variety of watersports, boat hire, deckchair hire and a pub with gardens overlooking the beach (food served all day). This is also where you will find Splashdown Quaywest Waterpark, Go Karts, crazy golf and Quad bikes. There is also the Paignton to Dartmouth steam railway running along the coast which can be joined at Goodrington station. The coastal path offers fantastic walks around the bay, to Torquay in one direction and to Brixham and Berryhead in the other. A 5 minute walk away, are Roundham Gardens with stunning views across to Torquay. Goodrington Sands is 2 minutes walk away. Paignton town is a 10 minute stroll. For those who take the bus, the stop is right outside Goodrington Lodge. For those with a car, Goodrington Lodge is so centrally located, it is no more than 20 minutes from Brixham, Cockington Village, Agatha Christie’s house at Greenway, Torquay, Totnes, Dartmouth and a variety of lovely safe beaches.
What makes this property unique
The Penthouse has such amazing views; it's like viewing an animated Lowry painting - there is so much going on in the park and on the beach, and at night you can see Brixham harbour lit up in the distance. When the sun goes down you have five TV's in this apartment and up on the second floor you feel very safe and secure when you retire to a very comfortable, quality bed. Add to this the unusually well-designed open plan layout of the apartment and the choice of a swim in the pool or a soak in the hot tub and you can see why I think the Penthouse ticks all the boxes.
