Summary:
Located in Wells-next-the-Sea, The Nest is a snug and welcoming spot perfect for couples exploring Wells and the Norfolk area. It features a comfortable bedroom with an ensuite, a compact kitchenette, and outdoor seating to enjoy the fresh air. Just a 10-minute walk from Wells Quay, you’ll be close to an array of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, and ice cream parlours.
The Space:
The Nest is a cosy one-bedroom annex with a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom (with shower and W/C), and a small kitchenette just outside the bedroom.
The kitchenette includes a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and kitchenware.
The bedroom also features a table for two and a flat-screen TV with a DVD player. High-speed Wi-Fi is available.
Guests have their own private entrance, allowing flexible arrival and departure times. The entrance opens onto a shared hallway occasionally used by the artist owner to access their studio, while The Nest’s private accommodation is upstairs.
Outside, there’s a table and chairs for relaxing on summer evenings, and a sheltered parking spot in the carport is provided.

Getting around the town itself is best done on foot, while exploring the surrounding areas can be easily achieved by car, bus, or bicycle. Whether you're visiting for the beach, wildlife, or historic sites, Wells-next-the-Sea provides a peaceful base for discovering the best of North Norfolk.
For hikers, the Norfolk Coast Path is a fantastic way to explore the region. The path stretches for miles along the coastline, passing through Wells-next-the-Sea and offering stunning views of the sea, salt marshes, and wildlife.
You can take day hikes or shorter walks along different sections of the path, with plenty of places to stop for a rest or refreshment along the way.
The Wells Harbour Railway is a narrow-gauge train that runs between the town center and Wells Beach. It’s a fun and convenient way to travel the mile-long distance between Wells town and the beach, especially for families with young children. The railway operates seasonally, generally from Easter to the end of October.
Just a couple of miles west of Wells-next-the-Sea, Holkham Hall is a must-visit for its grand Palladian architecture, extensive parklands, and beautifully kept gardens. You can walk or cycle through the park or visit the Holkham National Nature Reserve and its stunning beach.
Known as one of the most beautiful beaches in the UK, Holkham’s wide, sandy expanse is perfect for a day out in nature. It’s a favorite spot for beachgoers, walkers, and wildlife enthusiasts.
