About this property
Gorgeous flat in Heart of Clifton
Summary:
A stylish, warm and comfortable flat in the heart of Clifton, opposite the famous Lido spa (watch the swimmers from the comfort of the sitting room!). Many of the things that make Bristol a great place to visit are just a short walk away.
Enjoy!
The Space:
This is a gorgeous fully equipped flat in Bristol's premier location - perfect for an indulgent weekend break or for a longer stay for one or two people (unsuitable for children I'm afraid).
The flat comprises a lovely high ceilinged sitting room overlooking the front of the property, with a great view the length of The Lido swimming pool (www.the bristollido.com) It has a quiet bedroom at the back with a comfortable, brand new standard sized double bed, a small fully equipped kitchen and a shower room.
It is all freshly decorated and furnished to a high standard.
It is both light and airy with large sash windows front and back.
Guest Access:
It is important to me that, as my guest, you feel happy and comfortable in the flat - everything is provided to facilitate that, including top of the range bedding and Egyptian cotton towels.
You will have your own key while you are there and can come and go as you please.
I can provide 24 hour parking permits at a cost of £10 per day allowing you to park on any of the local streets free of stress!
The Neighborhood:
This lovely flat is perfect for an indulgent weekend break or for a longer stay. The flat is close to all the amenities that Bristol has to offer - bars, shops and restaurants as well as the amazing Lido opposite the flat.
The BBC is a short walk away as is the University of Bristol and the BRI.
There is loads to see in Bristol - Brunel's famous suspension bridge, the museums and art galleries, as well as a thriving theatre and music scene.
It is well worth googling the Lido (www.the bristollido.com) and booking in for one of their packages as a special treat - it is a wonderful and memorable experience. The Lido bar is fantastic if you just want an afternoon tea, or a glass of wine and some delicious Tapas. There is also a highly rated restaurant upstairs, overlooking the pool.
Next door to the Lido, and in contrast to the modernity of it, there's a delightful quiet traditional pub 'The Victoria' - perfect for that pint of foaming ale!
Getting Around:
The flat lies at the very heart of Bristol and is very easy to get to by public transport. It's a five minute walk to either the Triangle or Whiteladies Road with a choice of buses to the train station and airport. The local train station, at Clifton Down, is an eight minute walk away.
Because the flat is in such an interesting and beautiful area, walking is an absolute pleasure!
Other Things to Note:
I can't emphasise enough just how heavenly the Lido is - just sitting in the bar area watching the swimmers, with a chilled glass in hand, makes me very happy - I think my guests will feel similarly!
Interaction with Guests:
I'll give you a code to the key safe, that way you'll have the freedom to arrive late at night if necessary, without the worry of disturbing anyone.
I have Hopewell manage the property and they are avialble if you need anything during your stay.
